Welcome to our quaint Mid Century modern home in the heart of Lynden!

Come and enjoy all Lynden has to offer and just steps from your front door. Beautifully remodeled, this mid-century home is walking distance to everything award-winning downtown Lynden has to offer. Feel hungry for a quick bite or sip of wine? Check out the Mill across the street, or keep meandering for a delicious dutch bakery treat. There are over 10 restaurants & dining options a stroll away! Park your car and roam about lovely Lynden. Enjoy views of Mt. Baker from your own living room.

Our home has two Queen bedrooms available, the Master has its own SMART TV as well as one in the living room. We have a fully separate laundry/ mud room with it’s own entrance and a full kitchen stocked with cooking essentials and a Keurig coffee maker with pods and creamer. If you prefer fancy coffee, take a stroll down the street and you have 4 or more coffee and breakfast spot options- enjoy!

The home is beautifully furnished to capture the mid century modern vibe. Each bedroom has a Queen memory foam mattress, dresser & closet. The bedrooms have blackout curtains and blinds for those that need the room dark and just right. We have an AC unit to the master bedroom (May- Sept) to help with the warmer evenings in the summer months. There is also a vortex fan and two box fans in the home that can be used to increase airflow in the home on warmer days. The living room has views of the mountains to take in as well as a cozy gas fireplace with thermostat and a SMART TV.

We do allow pets on the property, 2 maximum. Please make sure the pets are listed in the booking as there is a $150 pet fee for each reservation. The VRBO website has a ‘box’ to check that declares you are travelingwith pets, the app dows not. If booking theougj the app, please declare ypur petsbin a message and we can attachthe pet fee after the booking is finalized. Thank you!

Property was clean and very close to old town Lynden. Perfect for our party of 3 as a jumping off point for family visits in the area.

Great simple house

The home is cute inside and in a great location for walking downtown. There was a small portable AC in the master but unfortunately it had to be drained every 5-6 hours from the small bucket so you would need to turn it off if you would be out exploring during the day. Unfortunately, none of the front windows open in the home so there is no cross breeze or fresh air during the hot days. The floor needs some updating as there were a few sharp spots coming up and can be dangerous for your feet. The twin in the living room is actually just a loveseat couch or an air Mattress that can be found in the closet, it was a little deceiving from the description. There is no outside seating to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and take in the beautiful scenery. The master bed frame was so loud it was impossible to roll over without waking up your spouse all night lol, maybe some new springs are needed. The home needs some good quality updating. We had several family members staying at other properties as well in town and their homes were top notch for the same price unfortunately. Overall the house is a very simple small home in the heart of Lynden. We were taken back by the cameras watching us come and go. The home also smelled quite musty. We had construction outside our windows everyday and quite early in the morning, which the owner was aware of and apologized, also leaving us a little welcome gift card which was a nice added touch.

We are a Lynden local family that loves all this small town has to offer. We used to live in the big City, but after visiting Lynden we decided to relocate to raise our small family here. We live less than 1 mile away from the property and are available if any needs arise.

There is no other property with a location this good in Lynden! Just steps away from The Claire Theater house, restaurant's and so much more. If traveling during the holidays, this downtown area is decorated like out of a story book and this home is on the parade routes for easy viewing and participation.
