Downtown Dutch Craftsman - Walk to Downtown!

This Charming 100 year old Dutch Craftsman home is exactly where you want to be when visiting Lynden and North Whatcom County. The house is one block away from downtown Lynden, the museum, coffee shops, bookstores, boutiques, bike shops, Lynden Skateway, parks, restaurants, pubs and more.

This house manages to be spacious and cozy at the same time. Wood floors, working fireplace, breakfast nook and cove ceilings are ready to welcome you home. The kitchen is stocked with appliances, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, etc.

The office on the south side of the house has light all day as well as an art supply station, library, daybed, trundle bed, and antique desk large enough for a double monitor setup and a cat5 connection.

Backyard is fully fenced with a small sundeck, flowers, hammock and lots of space for a pup to get out some morning zoomies! There are also raspberry, blueberry and jostaberry bushes along the fence, feel free to graze if the berries are out.

The attic suite has a private sitting area with a view over the Nooksack River Valley and views to Mt. Baker and the Twin Sisters.

The house is a 20 minute drive to Bellingham, 30 minutes to Peace Health St. Joseph Medical Center, 1 hour 15 minute drive to Mt. Baker Ski Area, 10 minutes from the Canadian Border and 1 hour 20 minutes to downtown Vancouver, BC.

Comfortable Bungalow in Great Location

My husband, daughter, a friend, and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Caitlin’s house. It was comfortable, quiet, and well-situated. Caitlin was an extremely responsive host and wanted to make sure we had a pleasant experience. She even provided firewood so we could have a cozy time.

Perfect stay!

We had a wonderful time! This house is so cute and has so much character…we were super comfortable staying there. Host Caitlin has the absolute best communication skills; in person, via text, and in writing (awesome house manual~Thank you!!!). We slept well, spent quality family time together, and walked to the downtown shops and restaurants. The house had everything we needed for an awesome stay!

Great House

Some flyball teammates and I needed a place to stay for our tournament in Abbotsford. This house was a great option. We were allowed to have our dogs with us, there was a good sized yard to walk them. The rooms were all nice. The house had that old personality and was very easy to relax in. Loved all the windows. The traffic on the street was a little more than I expected, but wasn’t a bother. Parking was really good too. Our host was very friendly! I would stay again.
