Private Tiny Cabin & Mountain Hiking!

We were very disappointed to receive this one-star review, as nearly all of the concerns raised involve features of the cabin that were clearly shown or described in the listing before booking. This property is specifically advertised as a tiny cabin, and the listing photos accurately show its size, interior layout, porch, and compact refrigerator. The porch is not advertised or pictured as screened. We also provide a cooler for guests who need additional cold-storage space. Unfortunately, this guest appeared not to have reviewed the listing information or the arrival instructions carefully. After arriving at the property, she contacted us asking where the cabin was located and what the entry code was, even though we had already sent detailed directions and the code prior to arrival. We certainly understand that a tiny cabin in a wooded mountain setting will not be the right fit for every traveler. However, hosts can only provide accurate descriptions, photographs, directions, and amenity information and rely on guests to review that information before booking and arriving. Based on our experience, we would caution other hosts to make sure this guest has carefully reviewed and acknowledged the details of their property before accepting a reservation, as we received a one-star rating for several characteristics of the cabin that were accurately disclosed in advance.
