The space
On a wooded hillside snuggled amidst the George Washington National Forest we welcome you to our peaceful retreat and hope you are able to unwind and reconnect with yourself and your loved ones.

Completely remodeled in 2021, this charming cottage offers two bedrooms with a pyramid bunk bed in one bedroom, a queen in the second bedroom and a full bathroom with an on demand energy efficient hot water supply. The cottage features an open living/dining area. The updated kitchen is well equipped for the delicious recipes you have been wanting to cook. The spacious covered deck is perfect for taking in nature's sights and sounds while you grill and enjoy a cold beverage or while drinking coffee and reading a book.

The living room is set up and staged for the heartwarming memories you've been meaning to get around to making. Play a game, cards, nap or watch a movie on the HD TV.

Unfortunately, the "world" may need you to check in during your reprieve, so the cabin provides fiber optic high-speed internet and wi-fi access. In addition to using it for "work"; you can also use it to connect to your favorite TV provider and catch up on shows, watch a movie, start the series you've been wanting to dive into or tune into your sports channels and never miss seeing that touchdown in real time!

The cottage is positioned amidst 2.5 acres of wooded hillside and a meadow full of wildlife. There is a stream at the bottom of the decline for those desiring to make the short trek down. Currently there is no prepared path to the stream, so access this natural beauty at your own risk.

The cottage is our own personal getaway and escape from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. We are happy to share it with you and hope it provides as much rest and relaxation as it does for us.

During your stay, the entire property is available for your use.

Access will be provided with a keycode prior to check in time.
Other things to note
The premise is equipped with motion sensor exterior security cameras facing both entry steps, the stream area and the parking area. These cameras are used for security purposes only and monitored when the property is vacant.

No cameras face any living area, including the porch.

No open bonfires permitted at this property. A metal fire pit with a spark arrestor is provided for your use. All fires must be contained within this fire pit and the screen cover in place when not adding logs or lifting for cooking a hotdog or s'more. Do not dump ashes anywhere on the property. Please dispose of cooled ashes in the provided ash bucket.
