It is definitely nicer than the posted pictures

Beautiful place. It is definitely nicer than pictures. We truly enjoyed our stay there. Balconies views are outstanding. The house has everything that you need for cooking and everything else. Host communicates very well.

Cozy Chalet

Great stay! The property is in a very nice neighborhood with lots and lots of snow during our visit. Everything was as described in the listing and beds were very comfortable. The property manager was responsive. The tenant over the garage, Christy, was amazing and helped to snow blow the driveway. It is recommended that you have 4WD or AWD as the road is serviced, but can still be difficult if you are not prepared.

Tahoe Away

This beautiful home was a pleasant surprise. The VRBO pictures do not do it justice. The location is in a quite, serene neighborhood with amazing views all around. The home is open, sunlit and decorated nicely. The kitchen is functional, but tough to prepare meals for anything more than basic cooking. Other people have mentioned lighting and this was an issue for us, as the lighting in the main room is rather dim and the kitchen lighting does not extend over the cooking island. Beds were comfortable and easily let 7 of us sleep well.

COZY, GREAT LOCATION JUST PERFECT!

This cabin is the perfect place to relax, tons of snow just outside the door, great for kids. everything was clean sheets, pillows, towels, shower was spotless, the entire home was very clean, maybe some dishes have little grease buildup but nothing out of this world, 3 tvs so everyone could watch whatever they want. I would probably recommend a couple more board games but other than that we really had a great time. The manager, Heather, was very helpful and really quick to answer. When we had to contact her, she always made sure we had everything we needed.. thank you for taking care of us.. I definitely recommend this cabin!!!

Amazing house but beware in snow

We had a great stay, and the house was perfect for our two families. The kids had a blast in the upstairs room. However, the road to the house is only accessible by 4x4 in heavy snow. The listing needs to be updated to make this much clearer. Heavy snow has been regular the past few seasons, and it's impossible to get to the house if youre not prepared. The whole neighborhood is dependent on this too. We almost didn't make it because another car was stuck in the snow the first night. The same car was stuck the next day, and 5 other cars couldn't get past it (we all dug a path around the car with shovels in the end). In the end we had a blast, but know that the road is not regularly plowed and if it's snowed be sure you're prepared.

We enjoyed the clean, comfortable, and modern decor and furnishings of this Chalet. The living room, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen had all the comforts and necessities of home. The view was beautiful from the big clean windows in the living room and bedrooms. The neighbor and neighborhood were quiet. I felt safe strolling through the neighborhood and enjoyed the beauty of the surrounding plants and trees. I especially enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and reading in this serene and peaceful setting. The location of the Chalet was close to everything we had planned to do such as hiking at Emerald Bay Park, taking a boat cruise around the lake, browsing through local shops, eating delicious Thai food at a nearby restaurant and going to Virginia City. There was nothing we had to contact our host, Heather for as all of our needs were met. However, I am sure if we had needed anything she would have been responsive based on her genuine and friendly back and forth communication with me (via text) as we were letting her know we enjoyed our stay and were leaving.
