Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and games. The temperature was hard to get right and the heat pump unit seemed to be running constantly. Overall loved the house and furnishings
This house was perfect for our girls trip! We had scenic views, perfect isolation, and a HUGE house with very amenity you could think of! They were stocked with games (even video gaming consoles—the girls spent too much time playing the Wii!). The hot tub was perfect for the starry nights, and the stone fire pit made the hard work of building a fire worth it. Oh and they have a full shed of fire wood so we never had to go hunting.Getting to the wineries was super easy and there’s even a cute park in the neighborhood with a lovely pond. I cannot recommend more!
This clean and lovely mountain home was a terrific getaway. We highly recommend it for families -- having the basement rec area was wonderful for traveling with teenagers!

Everything I was looking for in a peaceful retreat from the city! Nothing better than Shenandoah living. The house was very well furnished, quiet, clean, spacious, and the bed provided one of my best sleeps in years!! Perfectly situated between Front Royal and Winchester. Both providing great food and shopping options. And throw a dart to find a winery or brewery; dozens in the area!
Really enjoyed our stay and all the little touches - like labeled drawers and clear instructions. Very comfortable beds, pillows, and all the amenities you could want. Perfect for an uninterrupted girls weekend getaway.

The house was beautiful with a great view and location. The property was exactly as pictured (maybe even better in person!). The hot tub and ping pong table were a great addition to keep us busy. Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Hosted by Jenny
Hello, I'm Jenny! My husband Craig and I have lived in the Washington, DC area for 14 years and we try to enjoy all it has to offer. When we're not working full-time downtown, we frequent live music venues, explore new restaurants, and walk around the city with our dog Charlie. We found ourselves frequenting the Shenandoah Valley so often that we got a mountain chalet in 2022 for better access to the natural beauty of the area. We are experienced DC hosts but are looking forward to hosting you in the mountains.
