1819 House - is an ideal choice for your team! It is less than a 5 minute drive to the Cooperstown Dreams Park. Yes, you are welcome to have a well supervised team party. Teams often hire local caterers for their team parties here. The expansive grounds provide lots of room for outside fun and games.

The 1819 House is unique. The main level of the 1819 House includes six bedrooms that are furnished and decorated with taste and distinction. Each bedroom is equivalent to a private hotel room with a private bath and private entry from one of the covered porches. Three bedrooms each have a queen bed and three bedrooms each have two queen beds.

There is plenty of room outside and inside for your group. The expansive grounds include a fire pit. End your day swapping stories around a campfire. Combine 1819 House with 1819 Carriage House - located on the same property - for a total of 9 bedrooms.

Built in 1819, this exquisite home has an intriguing history. The alleged and known uses include a brothel, gaming activities, a hops farmhouse, an underground railroad stop, a doctor’s office, and a restaurant. A mural in the main foyer depicts the history. From 1994 until 2004, the 1819 House was a popular eatery in the Cooperstown area. It was completely renovated in 2004.

Host was super easy to communicate with and check in was easy too. Property is really well described. Fit 4 baseball families just fine. Had a nice team party one night at the house. Very close to Dreams Park. Would recommend.

Perfect for large groups.

This house was clean and perfect for large groups. The separate room entrances gave us all privacy but we loved being able to gather in the tavern. Plenty of room to have team parties and the boys loved all the space outside to play wiffle ball. The owners were amazing and helpful with more than just house questions.

Excellent location for Cooperstown guests

Excellent location to the park- 5 min drive. With rain delays and early games this is a must. 5 families stayed comfortably in this large house. Everyone having their own bathroom a huge plus. The tavern was amazing, perfect gathering spot for our team party and dinners. Plenty of room for everyone. Kids loved the large field for games and fire pit. The host was very attentive and responded quickly for small issues. We had an awesome week at Cooperstown!

Banana Ball Stay

It was a great location for multiple sets of friends to stay for a weekend in Cooperstown and some Savannah Banana action! It was close to the fields and was an excellent place to come back and hang out with the whole crew

Wonderful place

The house was great. We had 6 families staying and it was perfect. Everyone was comfortable. The dining area was the best. So cool to hang out in there with everyone during down time. The yard is beautiful, the kids loved hanging out and playing.

Such an amazing week!!

Several families stayed at the 1819 House + Carriage House for six nights while our kids played in the Cooperstown baseball tournament, and it could not have worked out better! We had 18 people total, and plenty of space for all of us. The tavern was a huge hit and perfect for feeding the whole team, and the yard got lots of use while we were there! From wiffle ball games to late nights around the firepit, we spent as much time outside as we could -- the weather was perfect! Thank you for a great stay! We will definitely recommend this property to other baseball families.

Nice house for a group

Place was well described by Cooperstown Stay and our contact person. Perfect house for multiple families. Enjoyed the exterior doors to each room. The Tavern was nice to gather as a group with plenty of space. The large yard and fire pit were nice. Location to Dreams park was amazing! Quick 7 minute drive made it very nice for the early and late nights and the few rain delays to quickly get to and from the park. Would definitely recommend!

Spooky Fun House

The house is massive and accommodated 6 families comfortably. The expansive 2 acre lot was the gathering place for play. The kitchen/bar/tavern area fit all of us with bathrooms on the same level. Very close to Dreams Park. If sleeping and eating with harmless spiders and mild imagined paranormal activity is your thing, this is the house for you. The amount of fun had by our group far outweighed any con. Thank you again, Jason, for your hospitality and responsiveness.

Fun and Comfortable Group Home

Our group loved this unique home. By having individual rooms with their own bathrooms, everyone had their own space. The tavern/kitchen area in the basement was definitely the highlight; although we spent a good deal of time sitting on the porch and around the bonfire area (with unlimited firewood!). Plenty of games to entertain the players' siblings who stayed in the house. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We even hosted a hotdog lunch for the team one day before going to the Hall of Fame. Planning to book this house again when we (hopefully) return in four years with the younger brother.

Phenomenal spot - the Tavern was legit

We had a phenomenal stay at the 1819 and Carriage Houses in early August 2023. The massive grounds were perfect for our volleyball court, corn hole and other lawn games. The bedrooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The selling feature without a doubt is the tavern which served as the primary social gathering place and our very own modern day “speakeasy”. A few minute drive to Dreams Park we couldn’t have imagined staying anywhere else. Thanks to the host Jason for welcoming us. Wish we could say we’ll be back for sure but as we all know, Cooperstown is once in a lifetime for most kids. Don’t be fooled by the exterior - you’re dealing with a 200 year old home that sees long winters and a lot of dynamic weather.

Baseball Family Dreams Vacation

The 1819 House and 1819 Carriage House property was fun, unique and absolutely perfect for our large group. A total of 8 families (6 in the main house and 2 in the carriage house) came to Cooperstown to watch our kids play in a baseball tournament at Dreams Park. Each family had their own space but we were all able to gather in the large kitchen/tavern or at the wonderful fire pit outside. There was plenty of space to host a team party. All the kids had a blast on the large property playing tag, wiffle ball and making s'mores. The location of the property to Dreams Park couldn’t have been any better. It was a quick 5 minute drive to the park which is ideal for early morning games or a quick stop back to the house for a bite to eat between games. The owners of this property were amazing as well. They personally met our group and gave a tour. They were also easily reachable and super responsive. This baseball family had such an amazing time. We are so thankful for the time we had together and the memories we made at this property. Thank you for sharing it with us!!!

Great space for multiple families

Our baseball family had a great experience at the 1819 house. Jason, the owner, is very friendly and responsive. The main house and carriage house accommodated our nine families. We had our own separate spaces and entrances and never felt like we were in each other’s way. The kids and adults convened outside when the weather was nice. There is a huge outdoor grass yard for the kids and a bonfire setup with plenty of seating. When we went inside, the families gathered in the Tavern. Overall a great time for all.

Awesome place to stay for Cooperstown week. A few minutes from Dreams park and near Cooperstown. 6 dedicated rooms for each family. The pub downstairs was the place to hang out, was fantastic. Had the whole team back to the house for a bbq, hang in the pub, and wiffle ball outside. It’s a perfect spot.
