Entire residential home newly furnished for that perfect beach getaway for family and friends. Waverly Cottage is an elevated 2 floor, 3rd row home which overlooks lower 1st and 2nd row houses providing multiple views of the ocean from two beach-side decks. In addition, you’ll be able to catch the wonderful Topsail Island sunsets from two marsh-side decks. A private beach access is just steps away. Waverly sleeps 11 in 4 BR: 1 king bed suite, 2 queen beds, 2 bunk beds and 1 trundle.

Waverly Cottage is a newly furnished with new flooring and paint throughout. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor including a master BR suite with king size bed and private access to one of 4 decks and a 2nd bedroom with queen size bed and adjacent bathroom. Kitchen is fully equipped with small appliances, dishes, cooking appliances and a separate coffee bar. Second floor has bedroom with queen bed and private access to deck with ocean view and shared bathroom with bunk room with 2 bunk beds and one trundle. There is plenty of onsite parking including a carport and garage.

We are long-time Wilmington residents and have always loved the beach. Waverly is a family vacation home that we also want to share with other families to make wonderful beach memories like we have made with our family over the years.
Why they chose this property
We are from Wilmington, NC and have a deep love for North Carolina’s beaches. We have found Topsail Island is the perfect quiet family getaway, and Waverly Cottage is conveniently located in southern North Topsail Beach – far enough from the sights and sounds of Surf City for peaceful beach living but close enough for easy access to restaurants, bars, and shopping. The breathtaking view topping the Surf City bridge is captured in an enlarged photo in the living room as a constant reminder of … We’re located adjacent to the annual 4th of July Ocean City Jazz Festival and a short 0.7 mile drive to free public parking for marsh access for kayaks. Easy access to the beach is available at the Ocean City private beach access which is a short 3 minute walk where you can enjoy swimming, surfing, fishing, walks on the beach and beautiful sunrises. Be sure to check out the historic Tower #6 from Operation Bumblebee (and the photo in Waverly’s stairwell), which was Topsail Island’s post World War II missile development program. Tower #6 is located right on the beach 1,000 ft south of the Ocean City private beach access. You can learn more about Operation Bumblebee at the Missiles and More Museum in Topsail Beach.
