Relax, Play, Fish, Crab - Birds, Beach and incredible Sunsets - Sleeps 10 to 11

Come experience a relaxing getaway at our beautiful blue Bella! Sitting on the canal on Sunset Point in Terramar Beach, the location is the perfect place for fishing, bird watching, kayaking and paddle boarding. An unobstructed view of Galveston Bay makes for gorgeous sunset viewing each night, and the beach is an easy 3 minute car ride (or 15 minute walk) away. If a break from the beach is desired, the community pool is only 1 or 2 minutes away with car and 7 to 8 minutes if walking.

Bella comfortably sleeps between 10 to 11. There are 3 full bedrooms (a Queen, a King and a Queen with an attached top bunk), and an airy loft in the living area that doubles as a playroom and sleeping area (it includes a futon, a daybed and a pullout loveseat). All three bedrooms complete with a smart TV, cable and internet for catching up on the news or relaxing with a movie or TV show after a day in the sun or fishing. The house has 2 1/2 bathrooms, plus an outdoor shower with cold and hot water for rinsing off after kayaking or a swim. Bella has a big open kitchen with dining table and island- perfect for post-beach family meals. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and baking and has a range/oven, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. There’s a spacious living room (complete with 60 inch smart TV with cable and internet) for lounging or playing games. A washer and a dryer are conveniently located in the hallway between the kitchen and two of the bedrooms. The house has full Wifi coverage for connecting your devices to catch up on social media, emails, news and similar in between enjoying the outdoors.

The property has 3 outdoor lounging areas: A spacious top level deck with two big dining tables, padded lounge chairs and a gas grill; a bayside deck with cocktail table and chairs for relaxing with a glass of wine at sunset; and a shaded dockside lounging area with a stone picnic table, couch and chairs, coal fired grill and bar for mixing cold Margaritas and Piña Coladas. There are even two jet ski docks convenient for kayak launching, and a fish cleaning table. Use of the kayaks (2), paddle boards (2) and bicycles (2) is included with the rental.

Two exercise mats and dumbbells from 5 to 25 pounds are available for staying in shape while relaxing and enjoying vacation meals and beverages, for last minute efforts to achieve the desired beach body or for building strength to reel in the big fish!

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Put all paddle boards and kayaks back on the lift in the storage room after having hosed them down to get rid of as much sand, salt, and dirt as possible.
Put the covers on the lounging furniture on the ground level to protect the cushions from bird droppings and similar undesired dirt. Please also be aware that the covers have a front and a back side.
Pull the dock ladder as far out of the water as possible. Turn on the Ring monitoring cameras. Switches are in the storage room (front right corner) and on the pillar to the left of the stairs.

A beautiful house in a good location. Very nice kitchen and nice furniture. The upper deck is awesome. We only caught a few small fish but we still had a good time. We also used the paddle boat. Only couple minor things. 1. the remote control of TV doesn't work. 2. the gas grill does not get hot at all. Overall, we had a good experience. I would recommend this place. Thank you.

It would have been fine if you had told us while you ere there. We stayed there for three nights ourselves just a couple of days before you arrived. Thanks for letting us know about the gas grill. It will be fixed right away. The remotes were working when we were there, so we will take a look at them to see if batteries are flat, or if there is another problem.

Second time at Bella and we loved it just as much as the first time. It was super clean, the downstairs dock area had plenty of space, the kitchen had everything I needed to cook with and the beach was easy to get to. The paddle boards are always an extra treat to use after a morning at the beach. It’s the perfect family house as everyone has a space to sleep and plenty of spaces to spread out.

Overall everything was wonderful - clean, well-supplied, kayaks provided, crab traps for the kids to check, fantastic sunsets! Only one thing was a problem: a bed downstairs wasn't up to par. The owner tried to fix the problem and I imagine it will be completely resolved quickly.It's a great place in a wonderful location!

The bed has been fixed. Our repair and maintenance guy was sent out when Liz reported the problem. He improved the situation, but somehow missed the root cause of the problem. The center support had broken loose from the headboard. I visited the house myself and fixed it. We are sorry this caused a minor inconvenience and discomfort for two of the members of Liz’s group. We gave them a refund to compensate. Liz and her group are welcome to come back any time. This time actually was the second time they rented Bella.

Family Fall Break Trip

Had a great time while staying at Bella. We used the paddle boards and fished. Our 3 and 5 year old loved the play room upstairs. We visited the beach down the road. Overall had a good time relaxing and just enjoying being by the water.

Awesome fishing and vacation destination

This beautiful home had the perfect location! There’s great fishing in the bay, paddle boards, kayaks, and bikes to enjoy on the property, and the beach is right behind the property. The sunset over the ocean is absolutely amazing from this location! The cleanliness and comfort of this property was also excellent!!

Short getaway

The property was nice and clean, check in process was simple. Enjoyed our stay. Was thinking of a future stay at this property but was just informed of two items that were damaged that we were unaware of. Glad we bought accident insurance.

Upon checking the property after this guest we found the rug by the entrance with brown stains and a bed cover with a burned hole and ash smeared out around it. We have had the rug cleaned and replaced the bed cover and subsequently filed a claim supported by pictures to the property damage insurance company for a minor amount. The insurance company promptly paid the claim.

We had a great stay at Bella! The deck space is amazing. The weather didn’t cooperate and let us use it as much as we’d hoped. The home was well stocked with almost anything we needed. Had some fun fishing and crabbing off the dock, however the lights didn’t work.

Relaxing stay with everything you might want

The extended family enjoyed a long weekend before embarking on a cruise - relaxing way to start a holiday. The house was beautiful, comfortable, and packed with everything you might want. Everyone agreed the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with gadgets and dishes for home cooking. Swimming from the back door was amazing, and we enjoyed the grill, the kayaks and the paddle boards. All around fabulous - highly recommend.

Awesome house

Relaxing get away

Great get away to relax on the water. Fish off the back yard, set your crab trap and eat your catch. Lots of fun. Kids loved it!! Kayack, paddle board in the canal. Quick access to the beach. Great house and eminities.

Amazing, Quiet Beach House

The beach vibe at Bella is AMAZING! You feel in “vacation mode” the second you drive up. We loved that Bella song as down the strip from Galveston as it was extremely quiet and relaxing. The canal and beach were awesome!! Regarding the listing… spot on! The kitchen items, bathroom items, pictures were all extremely accurate/spot on. We loved our stay and WILL be back!! Thanks Bella for a great family/friend weekend!!

Absolutely Wonderful!

We had a party of 10 people, ranging from our 26 year old son to our 2 year old grandson. The house was very spacious with plenty of room for everyone. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. The view of the bay from the main bedroom is spectacular and the kids absolutely loved the fishing and kayaking. I would recommend to anyone!

Spring break in Galveston

The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The owner responded immediately to the one question we asked. We were able to take the kayaks paddle boards out on the lagoon every day, and the beach was only a mile away on the other side of the road. Overall, it was a great house in a great location, and although this is our first time using VRBO, I could not be more impressed with the experience of renting this property.

Perfect vacation!!

What can't be said about Bella? She's beautifully decorated, location is ideal, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of linens! We fished, played with the kayaks and SUPs, went to the beach, played board games, everything was perfect!! Loved, loved, loved our stay. Kids were happy as were the adults. Large group, 3 sets of adults and 5 kids 6-15. Everyone was comfortable and Bella was more than accommodating. Can't wait to plan next year's annual trip to Galveston and hopefully we can book Bella again!

A wonderful place to stay

We experienced a true escape from hectic city schedules, and felt transported to a far away place. The place itself is gorgeous and comfortable. It's close to Terramar Beach, and we loved kayaking on the canals. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to entertain and enjoy. Communication with our host was easy and quick, but only because I'm chatty and ask lots of questions, not because we were lacking anything. The younger couples found it romantic and wanted to stay longer. We were thrilled to see out family gather there and enjoy each other. I have to mention the comfy beds. Finally, we loved the magical sunsets, lounging on the patio.
