My wife, two sons, and i all had a great time while we stayed here. We booked the trip for my youngest surgey in St. Louis but didnt want to stay in the city. This location was only a 25 minute drive from the hospital which made it very convenient for traveling. Overall we had a great experience during our stay and were able to make the place feel like home while we were there!
The house was exactly as the pics shown, easy access to the highways, stores, and White Castle, I’m from the area and I must say that it’s an ideal location, the home has age but, it has been well taken care of, and the next time I come that way I know where ill be staying
Property was as described. Very clean. 15 minutes to Busch Stadium. We would stay here again. My only suggestion is to leave a few extra bath towels. Other than that, it was perfect!
Had a great stay. Home is very comfortable. Loved the back porch & huge yard. Nice dishes & comfortable to cook in. Will stay here again when back in town
We were in town for our class reunion and to visit with friends and family. This location gave us a great location provided us with a good combination of comfort and convenience. The space was better than the one room we would have had at a hotel and amenities were great for us to have meals at home if we wanted.
The house was neat and tidy. We loved sitting on the covered back porch and drinking coffee, especially when it was raining. The host Ms. Davis was very gracious and informative. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking needs. The stay was centrally located to visit relatives in Belleville and Freeburg and of course taking in a Cardinal game at Busch Stadium and other attractions in St. Louis. Recommend eating at the tavern the Cat and Fiddle, just down the street, food is delicious and the people are very friendly as is the staff. Another recommendation would be Eckerts (between Belleville and Freeburg) it is an orchard with a store, and a restaurant. Great place to get Eckerts homemade jams, jellies, apple and peach butter fresh pies, cookies, fruits, etc. for gifts.
We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Patty’s. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The communication with patty was smooth and prompt, making the booking process hassle-free.The space was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect. We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend their property highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay—we will definitely be back!
My family was holding its annual reunion in Belleville. I rented the house in order to avoid the group hotel and to have a place to do some cooking for the weekend's festivities. The house was very cozy and exactly what I wanted. It was homey without the usual rental characteristics, such as a lot of instructional signs on every door or indicators it was outfitted on a dime from a trip to Ikea. I truly felt like it was "my" home while there. The house is certainly not fancy and lacks some amenities that others might consider deal-breakers, such as a dishwasher, but such things are not important to me, and I was very happy. I do appreciate the multitude of electrical outlets for charging various items. The kitchen was highly functional, and I was able to prepare food for 30 with no problem. The only drawback to the property is the location. The neighborhood is very quiet (a plus), but the house does seem a little isolated. If you need anything, such as supplies, etc., they are at least two miles away, and there is a lack of access to quality restaurants nearby.Patty, the host was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with, both before, during, and after my stay. She gets an A.
I'm a mom of three, an USAF veteran and military spouse. I've always wanted to get into the short term rental space to connect guests with a great place to stay during their travels. I think travelers enjoy staying in someone's house or apartment over a hotel because each place is unique and more comfortable. This home is my mother in laws house before she married her husband and moved in with him. My husbands whole family is from the southern Illinois area for over four generations.
