La Mer's unassuming exterior only enhances the delight of the bright airy home that opens to a spacious pool deck with excellent views. This villa property consists of a main building with 2 air-conditioned en suite bedrooms, modern and fully equipped galley kitchen and a split level living and dining area. The bedrooms and living space open by way of glass folding doors onto the main pool deck, bringing in sea views and breezes.

The villa is Caribbean contemporary design, with minimalist lines and bursts of tropical hues against a white canvas. La Mer invites quiet contemplation on its large deck, with loungers for sun worshiping or stargazing, and both indoor and outdoor seating for dining. A special feature of the property is the stand-alone master suite, Coconut Cottage, set apart from the main house by a few feet and featuring king-size bed, en suite bath and equally wonderful sea views, with a bit more privacy.

My family of four had a great stay at La Mer in Cap Estate, Gros Islet. The location was great. It was close to restaurants and amenities but felt like a world away. The outdoor space was heaven and we enjoyed the wall of windows that, when opened, brought the outdoors, and the beautiful breeze, in. Bedrooms were air-conditioned. The kitchen was a little tired (could have a few more kitchen tools, as well), as were a few elements of the house, but once we got into vacation mode, it didn't bother us at all. We would rent here again.

Wonderful Vacation

I will definitely stay at LaMer again. It was such a joy with my family and I to feel like we were on our very own personal resort. We are from St. Lucia and came from the states to visit family. Staying here felt like a true vacation. Nadine was such a delight as well.

Thank you so much sharing your beautiful home with us! It was everyone's first trip to St. Lucia and it was important to us that we really experience the island and your villa helped us do that. The glass doors (although tricky at first) we're opened every chance that we had. We all took turns taking shower in the coconut cottage shower with the open windows! The pool and the views are simply Amazing! Nadine & Illtyde were a pleasure and always helpful. A trip for everyone check out the Naked Fisherman Restaurant Bar great food and drinks and beach! Oh and very close to the house. Thank you again.
