HURRICANE UPDATE: The pool is open and elevator is now back in service!

Please note: From July 2025 to January 2026, the building will be undergoing a significant renovation project. Be advised that during this period, there will be active construction occurring on the exterior of the building, including balcony work, which will result in balcony closure during that time.
The condo will remain open for rent during this time. However, we do want to make you aware that there will be some noise and disturbances due to the construction activities. We have applied a discount to this unit during the construction time due to the inconvenience this will cause.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very disappointed with the elevator being down more than it was up and the air conditioning being locked to only go down to 70. The floor was filthy. We have been staying here for many years and it has really gone downhill. Very sad.

The elevator has been undergoing necessary maintenance due to hurricane-related damage, but we’re happy to share it is now fully operational. Regarding the air conditioning, there is no lock on the thermostat, but it sounds like it may have been accidentally put into a restricted mode. Had we known during your stay, we would have been more than happy to walk you through fixing it or send someone out right away. We always want our guests to be comfortable and encourage reaching out so we can address any concerns immediately. Great Views, not a great stay.

If you love carrying up luggage 5 flights of stairs and then getting groceries and carrying those up 5 flights of stairs and going to the beach or pool and up and down 5 flights of stairs each time then this codo is perfect for you! The view was great but thats about it. Beach was windy and rough. Heated pool worked most of the time but not very clean. Room was not very clean with a non working toilet in the master bedroom. Kitchen cabinets had no hardware so kids could not open the drawers easily. Not worth the money thats fornsure.

Unfortunately, the elevator was damaged by the hurricane and has been unavailable. While the repairs are underway, we have reduced the rates for this unit and we also offered to move you to another unit if the stairs would be an issue. We understand how frustrating it can be to have your vacation disrupted in this way, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. We take all guest feedback seriously and we appreciate your patience and understanding as the construction of the elevator is underway. We will pass on your request for hardware on the cabinet to the owner, and are working to resolve the toilet issue, the toilet needs to be replaced but with no working elevator, it is making it difficult unfortunately, but we are working on it! Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back soon.

I would recommend that the owner of unit 503 update furniture on the balcony. The chairs were worn, cushions were worn and dirty. Way to many chairs for a small space. Took away from the beautiful sunsets.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been to Indian Shores at least 10 times before, but we always stayed across the street on the inter-coastal water-way. This was the first time we stayed right on the beach and it was absolutely fabulous. we'll never go back to the other side of Gulf Blvd. The balcony view overlooking the beach, the Gulf, and the pool was amazing, and walking right out into the beach was perfect. The condo unit itself was nicely furnished, comfortable, and stocked with all the kitchen supplies that we needed. It's centrally located for short trips to Tampa, St Pete, and Clearwater. We plan to return next year and for years to come.

Chairs and tent that were left from previous renters were rusty and broken. We had to go out and buy everything for 4 people. Too much of an expense for us. For the price of the condos here, they should have them to use. Everything else was perfect

Wonderful Vacation

I will start with we got a great price on a lovely unit that overlooked the ocean. From start to finish everything was simple and easy, no issues whatever. The unit is located in a fantastic area that is not crowded and very family oriented. The balcony made the stay, we ate every meal that we were at the unit on the balcony. The unit had two TVs but I'm not sure if they work because they were never turned on. With such a beautiful view who would turn a tv on? Also, their is a nice pool but like with the TVs we never used it. With the beautiful ocean in front of us we never had any desire to use the pool. It was the best, most relaxing vacation my wife and I ever took. Their are things in the area to do but we just wanted to enjoy relaxing, watching the surf, taking walks and enjoy the moment. It's the type of place you can leave your stuff on the beach, leave for lunch and return with no worries. I would highly recommend this unit and this area for a couples get away. We were saddened to have to leave. Thanks to owners and staff for an wonderful vacation my wife and I really needed this !!

Not as nice as described

We were disappointed by VRBO property in another location that decided very late in the summer to tell us that they had decided to kick us out because the building owners were repainting the entire building. At this point most everything in the area we wanted was already reserved. We were helped by Florida Lifestyle to find another condo on the beach that we and our friends could rent. Upon arrival we noticed how dirty the place was…we had to call the building management regarding several issues including: no hot water, a clogged shower, broken blinds at dining room window and guest bedroom window, guest bedroom window was sticking and would hardly open. We also told them that the balcony light was out and that the sliding patio door screen was sliced from top to bottom (where someone likely walked through the screen), broken lamp in guest bedroom, and light bulbs out in master bedroom and bath fixtures. Upon speaking with building management we were told that there are often complaints on this unit and that it is not under their direct responsibility because the owners have private management elsewhere and almost never approve repairs. The pool and beach area were wonderful and we may have had better luck if done directly with Holiday Villas III office but we were unhappy with this unit (606).

Holiday Getaway

There are quite a few positive features about this rental - the best being the view from the balcony. Although the picture of the rental made it appear as though it was the corner unit on the top floor (with a side and front view balcony), it's actually the second unit on the top floor with just a front view of the water. The beach was clean and not very crowded. The vibe was laid back and not touristy. The condo was very clean. Good linens and plenty of towels. The half bath off the bedroom used to be a closet and needs to return to its original state - odd. There's no washer/dryer in the unit but there is one somewhere downstairs. We never looked for it. Renters need to pick up keys from a management service about 6 blocks from the condo. It would be much more convenient to have a key pad for access. Parking space was assigned and was plenty big for our large car rental. Access to the beach was convenient and secured with 2 gates that required codes to open. Overall, it was a good rental for one couple. It's not designed for more than 2 people since the couches do not open into beds. Good TV and strong internet connection. Easy check-out, too.

Condo is perfectly located, literally on the beach, close to restaurants, shops or mini golf course.It is ideally small (1 bedroom) - perfectly comfortable for the couple and sufficient for smaller family with max. 2 kids (thanx to additional Murphy bed in living room). It is well equipped with everything that you would need during holidays (starting from kitchen utensils, sheets and towels, through books or DVDs to beach toys, chairs, umbrellas or a beach tent).Apart from few dust bunnies on our arrival and quite slow internet (at least in comparison to our European standards - 1 Mbps there vs. 75 Mbps at home), everything else was really OK.I honestly recommend it to anybody.
