This is our 3rd stay at this lovely little cottage. It has the best views of the mountains and Mohonk tower. We saw several deer grazing while we sat by the fire, even heard coyotes howling at sunset. Host is very good with communication and early check in when possible.

This was our second stay at this great cabin. We stayed 5 nights with our dog. The cabin is fully equipped with kitchen items, linens, and even dog items. The cabin is clean and the bed is comfortable. Beautiful views in a quiet setting. Close to the rail trail for walks in nature and 10-15 minutes from amenities. Definitely recommend this cabin and it's reasonably priced for what you get.

This was the perfect place to stay for a cozy weekend. It really felt like a home, nicely decorated and with all the things you need. Very central to places like New Paltz. Quiet area. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful quaint home. The deck was our favorite place to hang (when we weren’t bicycling on the convenient rail trail). Oh yes, and relaxing in the hammock was another favorite activity (or more precisely “non-activity” ). Nicely equipped with everything we needed.

I booked this solo trip to get away from the city to rest and relax. It did not disappoint!! The cabin is amazing- cozy, clean, and fun. Aster, the host, was available any time and responsive to all questions, but I didn’t have many because the cabin is so well organized and stocked with many extras. I spent time in the snowy yard and had visitors in the morning- 4 precious deer!! I will absolutely be planning another trip to this Mountain View Escape- Highly recommend!
