Newly renovated lower level in the heart of Preston. 2 bedrooms, living area with private entrance.TV/Netflix. Fridge, microwave,coffee pot and toaster. Garage for bikes, snowmobiles!

Perfect for wedding guests,&concert goers. So much to see and do in SE Minnesota! Biking,Fishing,Hiking and Golf. Lanesboro is 6 miles away. Across the street from Branding Iron Supper Club. Feel free to use garage space for bikes as well. Forestville State Park 15 mn away!Perfect for snowmobiling with a heated garage you are welcome to use. I really try to be accommodating, so message me with any last minute reservations and I will see if Ican make it work!

Off street parking was great and to store the bikes in the garage was a plus. Lori was very responsive and accommodating. Accommodations were very clean and fresh. Bed was very comfortable. Our stay and the bike trails were wonderful!

The Root River Retreat was a very comfortable place to stay. From the welcoming of homebaked cookies to the comfort of the couch and bed, this place was a great home base for our visit with family in SE Minnesota. Great location and convenient to find. Parking was easy with a dedicated driveway space. Garage to store things if needed during your stay. Kitchenette had enough for us to function well. Would stay again and would recommend for others.

The host was clearly available and accessible, but was not intrusive. While the space is compact, it had what we needed and lots of space to store my bike while we were there.

This location was great and very accommodating. We brought our family for a weekend away, and the host was kind, communicative, and provided nice touches. We would absolutely stay again, if provided the opportunity.

This place was comfortable ans easily accessible for fiding and parking. Be aware that there is no kitchen. They have a small fridge and a microwave in the living room. Also a few dishes and silverware. If you are planning to eat out, it works. It has a super big TV, with free movies on all the apps. The beds are comfy. You can adjust the heat to your liking. And there is plenty of outdoor fun to be had.

Lovely Get Away

This was the perfect location for us to enjoy the areas offerings - biking, shopping, parade (in nearby Harmony), etc. We appreciated the simple check-in, welcoming atmosphere (complete with cookies), and clean and beautifully decorated space.

Very Nice Place!

We were needing a place to stay in the area for business. This place was the only thing available at the time and ended up being a great place to stay. The Host was very easy to work with and very welcoming.

Great space and location

My wife and visited for a weekend of exploring the area. This was a great home base for car and bicycle based trips. Space itself is great. Highly recommend.

Awesome!

I came to the area for biking, it was very hot and coming back here was so nice and relaxing! Located in a quiet neighborhood, close to anything you would need. Would definitely stay here again!
