Relax with the whole family at our lake house. This peaceful ranch style, lakefront 3 bed 2 bath home is perfect for a family getaway or a team while working. It is water front with its own private dock. We are located on Smith Creek, which is rumored to have some of the best fishing on the entire lake. Here at Serenity On Lake Gaston we are dog friendly and have no pet fees, yeah! There is a Nema 14-50 charging outlet for free level 2 charging of your Electric Vehicle. The deck and dock are newly refreshed. We have installed a whole house water filtration system to ensure clear and tasty water. The house is equipped with a high end washer and dryer. Several outdoor games and water toys are included for use during your stay like 2 single person kayaks, 1 youth kayak, 1 tandem kayak, a 3 person canoe, a pedal boat, corn hole, and ladder ball. There are some life vests available in a few sizes. We even provide a couple fishing poles and some basic tackle if the mood strikes you. Snooze next to the lake in the hammock. Maybe make s'mores at the fire pit. Also Included for rainy days is a gaming system with 10,000 games, some books and board games. The main tv is a Smart TV with chromecast and apple play compatibility, the master bedroom has an Amazon Fire TV and the 3rd TV has a Fire Stick. Netflix is provided. Bring your electric vehicle and 14-50 charger to plug into the 50 amp outlet to recharge for your trip home. The house has a king, queen, 4 twin bunks, and 2 futons. Every night stand has a wireless phone charging block. The kitchen is amazing and stocked with tons of goodies like 2 different sized crockpots, air fryer, mixer, both a Keurig and standard coffee maker, blender, and an electric kettle. There is a charcoal grill but charcoal is not included. Doggy clean up is a breeze with the waste station. Feel free to use the provided bags and drop them in the trash container. We will handle the rest. The water at the dock is great for swimming. It averages around 3 1/2 feet deep and the boat traffic is light so safety in the water is not a concern. We are super excited that we have finally exited the stone age! The house now has high speed internet. AMENITIES TO START YOUR STAY....... -- Trash bags -- Keurig K Cups -- Paper towels -- Dish soap and sponge -- Dishwasher detergent -- Washing machine pods -- Toilet paper -- Hand soap Towels, sheets, blankets, and pillows are provided. Guests have access to the main floor of the house. The basement is locked and off limits. We use self check in via code to a smart lock. There are 2 security cameras on the property. There is a Ring doorbell and a Ring spotlight camera that monitors the boats on the dock. They record video and audio based on motion. The boat dock is available during your stay and there is a public boat ramp about 6 minutes away by car so you could bring your boat and tie up to the dock to take advantage of the great fishing. The power boat that is there is off limits. Safety notes; There are no lifeguards on the lake so swimming and boating are at your own risk. The water only averages 3 1/2 to 4 feet deep at the dock, please do not dive. There are some life vest provided on the property but unfortunately we cannot accommodate every size for every person in your party. Please plan on bringing what you might need to stay compliant with the laws if you wish to participate in boating (especially childrens sizes). Rules and regulations can be found on the Virginia Department Of Wildlife Resources website.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home over the Christmas holiday. The scenery was incredibly peaceful and made for the perfect family getaway. We especially loved spending time fishing together—it was relaxing and created some great memories for our family.The home itself was well maintained, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. Our kids had an amazing time thanks to the thoughtful amenities provided by the host, which kept them entertained and happy throughout our stay. Beautiful property. Our family rented the entire property which was convenient for our group. Far enough away from everything so it’s quiet but easy to get into the thick of things, that is easy to do. The place had everything we needed for our stay. If it’s available book it.

Relaxing stay!

We loved our stay at this property! My friends and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend swimming, kayaking, and enjoying the sun on the deck and private dock. The outdoor amenities were great. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and tools, and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. We did have an issue checking in due to the keyless entry getting jammed. We were not able to get into the home until a couple hours after check-in since the host was out of town. However, Andrew was very communicative and came right away to fix the issue. We would stay again!

The house and property was everything as advertised very clean up-to-date beautiful location would highly recommend it. very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. We brought our boat and kept it under the roof of the dock, and the boat ramp is right down the road very easy access. I spoke with Andrew the owner briefly regarding a question who was very responsive and helpful.

My wife and I loved every second of our stay here. "Serenity" is the perfect name for this house. From the beginning of the private road we noticed immediately the peacefulness this place has to offer. We pulled our center console fishing boat here, and the driveway was no problem to navigate with ample parking for the boat and our truck. The house is super cute and open floor plan inside. Kitchen was larger then most rentals of its size with plenty of counter space, and the bar was perfect for mornings. We only used the master bedroom, but the king bed was a plus as most rentals only offer a queen size. The other two bedrooms were spacious as well with a queen in one, and bunks for the kiddos(if you have them). Master bath was plenty big enough for the two of us. Although the main bath in hall was much bigger. Appliances in the property are all new and state of the art options. Even includes a toaster oven and air fryer for cooking. Now let's get to the BEST PART of this property..... the view... simply breathtaking. We live on the river at home, but this view is nothing short of spectacular. From the sliding glass door, all the way to the dock is panoramic view of the lake. At 3-4' of water depth at docks end it would be perfect for swimming and floating. We visited in the off season so water temp was 62 so we didn't swim obviously, but in season would be amazing. The on site peddle boat was super cool. I took it out fishing by myself. Super cool to have fun with that.
