Exquisite get-away

Two seniors were imagining ,what we thought ,was the impossible -a cottage by the lake ,within driving distance of Kingston, with all the comforts (luxuries)of home. As soon as we opened the front door, we knew our dream was realized. A tastefully renovated interior, a gorgeous view of the lake, a thoughtfully designed kitchen, comfortable beds, and spacious deck awaited our three night escape from humid Ottawa. We were delighted. Our host was warm and caring in all communication ;the cottage was spotlessly clean and easily accessible from major thoroughfares. An extra plus: the night sky was superb; the fireflies magical ; a pair of loons and kingfisher company with our early morning coffee on the deck. A big thank-you to our gracious host -when can we come back?
