Welcome to your little river paradise at Idelwild by the River where you will find a large 1 bedroom 2 queen bed cabin along the banks of the Big Thompson River. Enjoy full river views from the fully enclosed porch or walk down the little hill and fish along the shoreline for that majestic trout calling your name. This cabin has been completely redecorated and comes with everything to make your Rocky Mountain vacation complete. Wake up to the soothing sounds of the river not far from your cabin or enjoy the soft evening glow over cocktails and a perfectly prepared meal after a long day's hike. Make this cabin your Holiday home base for all of your exploring and sightseeing in the breathtaking Estes Valley.

Located approximately 5 minutes to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and 10 minutes from downtown Estes Park, Riverside is part of 13 cabins at Idlewild by the River that were the original workforce housing for the workers that built the infrastructure for the National Park. Be part of Rocky Mountain history and lore when you call this cabin your base camp for your Rocky Mountain Adventures.

We believe in the “everything included” model for your stay with us. Everything from linens, toiletries, spices and your own propane BBQ to make your stay enjoyable. Enjoy Wifi, smart TVs, and a Keurig Coffee maker. There is a community hot tub and a large shoreline for fly fishing or river recreation.
