Be ready for FUN! Walk to breakfast down the road to a local farm to table restaurant or enjoy a round of golf a half mile away! Bayside is walking distance with playground and cute harbor and kayaking on the bay.
Our SALT LIFE Loft is Located on Rt 1 above our Kayak shop with Belfast to the south and Camden to the north . The location can not be beat. Pizza and ice cream are next door at a cute general store with penny candy, beer wine and subs.
Our Beautiful summer loft is relaxing for star gazing on our deck, grilling , and relaxing next to our stone fountain after a fun day of Maine sight seeing and fun activities.

Great place

This is a great place to stay just outside of Belfast. It’s very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the sea theme and the barbecue. Will definitely stay there again when in the Belfast area.

Central location, cozy deck

The place is centrally located which allowed us to explore Camden, as well as drive up to Bar Harbor and Acadia 2 days in a row. Emily was a responsive host and gave us recommendations. Bayside village is very cute as well. You will need to drive to restaurants and places, there is only 1 place walking distance. I would not recommend this place for 2 couples. There is only 1 bathroom and it's off of the small bedroom (no bathroom in master). It's best for a single couple. Place was clean. I wish there were some basic cooking supplies (salt, pepper, oil) and coffee/creamer. We probably would have grilled something, but getting all the supplies for 1 meal was too much hassle, so we ate out for every meal. Overall, enjoyed our stay in Maine and at this property.

Affordable, conveniently located, comfortable!

It may not look like it from the outside, but this is a very comfortable and well-decorated loft. The beds are comfortable, and there are ample soft towels and beach towels. It's situated on a busy road, but that didn't bother us much. We loved being able to get to grocery and convenience stores, not to mention beaches, with just a 10 minute drive. It's about a mile to beautiful Bayside village (we walked a couple times), and the Hoot farm-to-table restaurant is within walking distance. There's also a nice party/pizza store just adjacent. The Wifi is really good, and there's a nice-sized television. There's no stove, but there's a good stovetop with burners, plus a grill. The inside was clean and well-decorated. It was very comfortable for me, my husband and my teenager. It was just the right size, with two bedrooms, a bath and a nice kitchen/living area. Emily was a great hostess!

We love Maine and enjoy this midcoast area and hiking and hope you enjoy Maine and this area as much as we do. We love seeing our guests enjoy the bay or nearby lake and having the opportunity to try kayaking or paddle boarding during their visit.

Why they chose this property

Our location is so amazing and walking distance to a restaurant, golf course, general store and quaint Bayside. We have the boat house next door that we are currently renovating for short term rental. We are located on Rt 1 and during the day it is busy.......nights are more calm. IF you are looking for complete solitude and quiet, then this may not be the place for you. High Tide faces trees and big back yard. It does not face RT 1.
