Excellent host! Very friendly and had great communication, perfect location to be far away from the busy areas but an easy drive around the island. Loved the personal touches in the cottage and perfect for just my sister and I to have a relaxing getaway.
An amazing place that is right in the heart of the western part of mount desert island. So close to the Seawall and some great hikes and southwest harbor. An easy drive into the eastern part of the park and Bar Harbor.
The cottage made the perfect getaway for our honeymoon! We were so impressed with the property and kindness of the owners. We loved staying on the quiet side of the island and spending time in Southwest Harbor. You will not regret staying here!
We had a great time staying at the Seawall cottage. It was the perfect location in distance to Acadia and the rest of Mount Desert Island, we drove all over the island and hiked/biked the northeast, southwest, and northwest parts of the island. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We loved seeing the wildlife in the mornings and evenings.
Cute, quiet cabin a short walk away from the beautiful Seawall. Surrounded by green grass, flowers and wildlife, makes you feel like you’re walking into a fairy tale.
Absolutely loved southwest harbor and Acadia National Park. This is the perfect cottage to explore the national park. On the quieter side of the park and tons of hikes and water access within minutes of the location. Absolutely loved it!
Very nice & convenient place to stay & explore the quiet side of Acadia National Park & Mt. Desert Island. We enjoyed our time there. There is a nice porch attached to the cottage where you can watch deer & turkeys in the yard. We enjoyed time spent at the cottage as much as the areas we visited. The cottage was perfect for my wife & I. The hosts are very friendly & we would definitely stay again.

Thanks and so glad you enjoyed. Some of my best deer pictures are from there.
This is my second stay at Seawall Point Cottage. Connie and Steve are wonderful hosts and always helpful if you need anything. After a long day exploring the park, this is a nice peaceful place to come back and relax. The deer and turkey that come through the yard are always a highlight for me as well!

So glad you enjoyed! I have taken some of my best deer and turkey photos there.
Less then 5 minute walk to sea wall and shop & restaurant right beside it too..
10 minutes to southwest harbor & 25 to bar harbor
Overall good location wasn’t as crazy priced as other places on the island , plenty of wildlife around & property was clean and has everything you needed too would definitely recommend
Perfect spot for the quiet side of Arcadia but close enough to Bar Harbor for a visit. Hiking was great. Cottage had everything we needed. Everything as described. Would definitely stay again ! Ty to our hosts !
Great little cottage! Small but very clean! Beds were comfortable! Great porch and chairs to sit outside and watch all the deer! Connie and Steve very nice! Little seafood restaurant just down street and coast 10 min walk. Will definitely be staying here again!
Cozy cottage , close to seawall and lighthouse trails, short 5 minute drive into Southwest Harbor. Parking in driveway, cart to use for unloading luggage. Saw lots of deer and turkeys from the porch.
I really enjoyed my stay here in Southwest Harbor at this nice quiet little cottage. It was perfectly located between the scenic Seawall just a 15 min. walk in one direction, and a great Lobster and Seafood Restaurant just a 3 min. walk in the other direction. Did lots of walking and hiking, and checked out Bass Harbor lighthouse, Echo Lake, and a few other attractions.
I can't say enough positive things about this place. Although I am familiar with Maine, this was my first time at Mount Desert Island. It certainly did not disappoint. It has to be in the running for the happiest place in the country if not the world. Smiles all around. That aside, the cottage was clean and well stocked. The owners were friendly and accommodating. What more could you ask for? 5 stars.
The cottage is small but the location is a huge advantage. Walking distance to Seawall, Arcadia loop and Bar Harbor just a short drive away.
My favorite part of my stay was the family of deer which were in yard every morning and evening. Charlottes lobster was across the street and had great food and outdoor music that we enjoyed on the porch.
Would definitely return
