Come relax at our Lake Stella Getaway with private sandy beach that is nestled in between both Lake Stella and Lake Washington. Watch the calm sunrise on one lake, and the colorful sunset on another. Our beach is shallow and great for kids! Hook your boat to our dock and access both lakes via channel. Lake Stella and Lake Washington are both great for fishing and water sports. Enjoy the view from our deck or beach fire pit while listening to the loons.

This is a perfect spot for a family vacation! Just as advertised, it had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. It was a little too cool to be in the water 3 of our 4 days but we had plenty to do — took walks, cooked together, sat on the deck and talked, played golf and board games and explored nearby small towns and the twine ball! We plan to come back next year!

Beautiful home and property! Krista was very responsive and easy to work with. She checked in multiple times and even gave us insight on some great sights out on the lake. House was exactly as pictured and described. The kitchen was so spacious and great for cooking up meals for our big family. The kids loved the beach and the shallow lake was a bonus, as we could let them play without worrying. Highly recommend this gorgeous property!

The home was perfect for our family gathering! This home had everything we needed! Clean and so adorable! The kids had so much fun playing on the beach! The family kick ball game in the grass area and stories we made up with the kids about the pink bear that saved the turtle on Stella Lake will that will be talked about for years! Peaceful Respite and Comfort

We were in the area for my mother’s funeral and wanted a place to stay with a lake view. My elderly father and uncle were two of the people with us and they particularly appreciated the peace and beauty while sitting on the deck and looking out at the lake. Meals were easy, bathrooms and beds were what we needed, and everything was comfortable. We really appreciated it.

The property was great, had everything we need. Krista was very responsive to all my questions. Only improvement that I would recommend because we had older parents that stayed there with us to have railing on the back deck stairs leading to the yard. Otherwise awesome property.

A Beautiful Lakeside Paradise

This property was absolutely amazing. The host was very easy to communicate with and very helpful with questions. The property has everything we needed and was incredibly well-kept. My favorite part was the sand beach in the backyard. My friend and I spent most of our time sitting and gazing out over water. The master bedroom has a huge bay window that looks out onto the lake. It was a lovely weekend stay. I definitely plan to visit again in the future.

Wonderful bonus to the wedding weekend!

Let's just start by saying what a beautiful location this house is set. My extended family stayed here for 2 nights because of a family wedding in Hutchinson. They called it luxurious and felt very spoiled. It was a quiet place for them to relax after all the festivities. Enough room so some could lock themselves away and sleep and others sat around and visited. Krista was an awesome host. Want to visit in the summer now.

Perfect, Quiet Getaway

Looking for a quiet place to escape and enjoy a beautiful lake with a nice sandy beach? This is your place. It was clean, spacious, nicely stocked, comfortable, and relaxing. Whether you want to spend time inside or outside, they’ve got it all. We went with family and two little kids. They loved the beach and water. Great kitchen for cooking, yard for playing games and lounging, fire pit for marshmallows, shed with water toys, and deck for morning coffee The hosts were great to work with and quick to communicate. Highly recommend.

This property was beyond what we had expected going in to our vacation. We had a tough time sifting through many different properties to find the right one, that had a stunning interior, as well as a great outdoor area for us and our four children. Well…. this property was the perfect spot! From the gorgeous interior, including the loft for the children, and overall stunning accommodations, to the perfect outdoor setup, this property made out family getaway a home-run! The private perfectly sandy beach was amazing for our kiddos, and they spent so much time on the paddleboards! The accompanying dock allowed us to park our motorboat there for our entire stay. By the end of the third day, we didn’t even get through half of the activities/games that were there on the property. This is a real gem, and only about 75 minutes from the Twin Cities – the perfect location for a family with small children looking for a low-key, all inclusive getaway.

Most of our best memories from childhood to present day are at the lake and we want to be a part of creating those memories for you and your family. We love our lake house and can’t wait to share it with you!

Why they chose this property

Access to two lakes is pretty unique. You can enjoy the deck and beach on one lake or walk across the road on our property and enjoy the view on the other lake. If it is windy on one lake, it will be calm on the other. Our neighborhood is quiet, relaxing and family friendly. Great for walks and biking!

What makes this property unique

Our spacious home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths to accommodate your whole family. Master includes a king bed, jetted tub and lake views. Kitchen, dining area, coffee bar, living room and large loft all continue lake views as you cook, nap, read, enjoy a movie, or check out our collection of classic games and puzzles. Outside our deck stays shaded or you can soak up the sun on the beach. Enjoy the gas grill for dinner and then fire up our beach fire pit. Access to our shed includes lawn chairs, floaties, yard games, kids’ toys, variety of life jackets, and 2 stand up paddle boards. With a long sandy shallow walkout it really is the perfect place for kids to explore and parents to truly relax.
