Stayed at this property for a weekend with a group of six friends and had a great time. The pictures don't do this place justice. It had plenty of room for all of us to sleep, and the big deck on the front was a plus. Short ride to a couple of different marinas and it felt very secluded once you were on the island. I'd definitely stay again!

Best renters! Left all our cabins so clean and very responsive! Would love to have them back again!
We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this beautiful cabin which had plenty of sleeping areas for kids and adults. The location was peaceful and we especially enjoyed the outdoor amenities. Having a fire pit and a Blackstone grill made our evenings extra relaxing and made for easy grilling. Communication with the host was fantastic - quick, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. While there weren’t any real negatives, I’d recommend bringing water shoes if you plan to spend time playing down by the lake. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing stay on the lake. Great spot, great setup, and a great experience all around!

Thank you for choosing to stay at our island property on Lake Winnipesaukee! These guests were a pleasure to host — communication was smooth, they took excellent care of the home, and left everything spotless. We would gladly welcome them back anytime. Thanks again for staying with us!
Cabin is amazing. Only thing I would watch out for is that 6 out of the 8 beds are basically camping mats. Very hard to fit adults.

Wonderful vacation, small space
My husband and I rented this home for a week in the summer of 2014 and had a wonderful vacation. The lake is beautiful and the views and sunset are as idyllic as described. For the two of us, the house was sufficient. The cabin is one open room. Bunk beds on one side of the room and a pull-down, attic-type ladder leading to a sleeping loft with the queen bed. We found the sleeping loft to be tight and a little dangerous - there's very little space between the edge of the bed and the hole cut out for the ladder. The ladder springs are very loud, too - whenever either of us got up to use the bathroom, the other would be woken up, too. The "sleeping cabins" outdoors are very small out-buildings and there are no solid doors on them, just screen doors.
For the two of us, the house was sufficient, though there wasn't much room to spare. The lakefront is lovely, as is the breakwater. Michelle, our host, was very accommodating and available to answer our questions. The house was clean and well-equipped.

I built this property a few years back and it is very special to my kids and I. It is very relaxing and has the best view of the sunsets with gets great sun during the day! My kids love to explore the Island on the hiking path that is about 2 miles long around the Island.
Why they chose this property
I grew up in this area and I love the lake I wanted my kids to be able to enjoy the beauty of Lake Winnipesaukee just like I did and hopefully be able to pass it down to their children one day.
What makes this property unique
The Views are amazing! The breakwater is the best place to hang out and get some sun during the day. The Breakwater and dock will accomodate a 27 ft boat. During the evening sitting around an outside fire pit couldn't be more relaxing. Always something fun to do! The Cabin is located on an Island that has easy access to West Alton Marina only a 5 minute boat ride. The Lake House is located 7 homes west of the Island's landmark Castle. The Island has a great hiking path.
