Our host was excellent. The house had everything we needed. Location was great. Loved watching the tide. Would recommend this house to everyone. When we return to Maine, we would definitely stay here again.
Easy drive to Bar Harbor but away from the crowds Winter Harbor is charming. Treehouse restaurant is very good. Its a Shore Thing is a fun grocery/mercantile. The point Schoodic Peninsula is a must see!!
Excellent location and beautiful home with wonderful views of Grand Marsh Bay, the canoes and kayaks are an added bonus! Property owner was great to work with as well! Thank you and we all hope to return again in the future!
Amazing house right on the water! The host was very attentive and friendly. The property was very clean and had everything you could need. The canoes and kayaks were very fun and a great bonus. We highly recommend!!
The hosts were accommodating and walked us through the property upon arrival. We were able to use the kayaks and other property amenities. The kids had fun exploring the marsh and we were able to take the kayaks out. We even saw a porcupine and other small animals around. We will definitely visit again!
We had a great time at this home. It was in a convenient location and the use of the kayaks was great. The property is well maintained and beds were very comfortable. We cooked often and had all the kitchen essentials. The property owner and his wife were very helpful with tips on good local restaurants. We had a breakdown with our vehicle but a local garage Balzarini Boyz Automotive were able to get us back in the road in no time.

Fantastic Property and Great Owner!
My family and I spent a week in this quiet home right on a bay. We enjoyed fires by the water, the beautiful accommodations and very responsive owner. We were thrilled with the property and my wife and I agreed that it was one of the more relaxing vacations we have ever had. My 7 year old loved it too.

Tony it was a pleasure having your family stay at or house. All the best!
Overall loved this property. We enjoyed being near Acadia but far enough away to be away from the crowds. Drive into Acadia wasn't bad, and the ferry from winter harbor to bar harbor was also easy and enjoyable!
The property is on the water so make sure to bring mosquito spray and warm clothes as the evenings got cold but enjoyable.
Awesome house…Eagles, Osprey, so many other birds. We Kayaked, Hiked, Biked, and Just Hung out on the amazing porch. Definitely will be back!

The house was cleaner after you left than you found it. Such a pleasure to have someone of such integrity at our house. Safe travels please try and avoid the Hurricane
Our family had such a memorable time while staying at this house. We drove the hour long drive to Acadia Nat’l Park/Bar Harbor area twice even though our young adult sons would have been happy to meet the days high tide on the bay in the kayaks. The views at Acadia, Schoodic Peninsula and from the living area in the house were all beautiful. Phil and Kim were great and we would love to stay here again!

Joe Shaker & Company were great to have as guest. They are certainly welcomed back anytime they like. Maybe next time they can stay for 4 weeks and take advantage of the monthly rate discount.
Beautiful location, very quiet. Views of the water are great, saw 2 Bald eagles. Kayaks & canoe for paddling.
House was beyond expectations, very clean and lots of room for gathering together or escaping to a quiet place.

You will not be disappointed!
This is a great peaceful secluded setting away from it all yet close to a neat little town of Winter Harbor and the "other" Acadia less crowded with great hiking and beautiful scenery. The owners are very accommodating. Very clean and well kept.
