The pictures are deceiving. Although it was decorated cute it was not clean dining room chairs filthy kitchen counters filthy kitchen shelves full of dust . Washing machine sounded like it was going to fall apart . Literally had to clean before I could do anything . Pillows on couch ripped . Trap door above the shower made you feel very uncomfortable to take a shower . We went for a nice Thanksgiving with our daughter who attends college up there because she couldn’t come home and just ended up bending totally uncomfortable . The stove and over were also so dirty .

Works well! Cheaper than a hotel for a group of people.

It works well for a trip to duluth or the surrounding area. The house is small, but it works well. One thing to note is that if you are a light sleeper, try to avoid sleeping in the room by the road, as the traffic from the road can keep you up at night. Either that, or reorienting the way you are sleeping so that your head is not by the window. Other than that, it did the job!

Cute Home in Superior

We were impressed with the cleanliness and comfort at Spring Valley Cottage. Home was in an easily accessible spot and near stores, restaurants, etc. It was a short drive for us going into Duluth for the evening. Only issues were the heating system. We had a hard time regulating the temperature and the home was only 61° upon arrival. Hosts did not respond when we asked about it. Overall, a cute, comfortable spot and we had a great stay!
