Everything was perfect. There was a miscommunication with the cleaners that we had changed our booking to a day earlier. Management responded immediately and the place was cleaned within the hour. They went above and beyond to make everything prefect. Highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing property. Secluded, private, very clean! The owner Josh was the absolute best! He answered our questions within minutes. Our grill was missing when we arrived and he had one on our porch within 10 minutes along with charcoal and lighter fluid. We will definitely be returning
Served our needs. I know it’s in the woods but there are A LOT of cob webs and spiders (saw a few in the house as well) needs an exterminator with frequent visits to brush off cobwebs and spray inside.Plenty of towels. Shower could be better as the water leaks onto the floor (shower curtain doesn’t protect the whole shower.)Door sticks getting in so you may think you are looked out, but give it a good shove with your shoulder.1 lane road getting to cabin. So be aware you may have to pull over. Very dark at night. We thought we would walk to Helen but not a realistic option. Very steep and wooded-Wouldn’t want to meet up with wildlife.
Everything good but ac the coils were so dirty air couldn’t pass thru wasn’t cooling I cleaned out about 1inch of black nasty crud it started cooling and everything great rest of stay.
We got there and I was excited because it was on a hill top with a view in a cute little cabin. Check-in was easy because I got the email with the code and it was easy to punch in. We open the door, and the first thing I notice is that it was hotter than hades. So, we turned the AC unit on and down, but the poor unit is way too small for the cabin, so it wasn’t really putting out anything. We tried to turn the fan on, but it only worked if the lights were on at the same time. The cord didn’t work for the lights to turn off. So, needless to say, it was a very hot night. We just got done floating down the river, so I wanted to take a shower. I open the bathroom door, and there’s a pile of dirty, used towels sitting in the floor. So, far not a good, so I didn’t trust any of the linens. We slept on top of the bed sheets because of that reason, plus it was burning up in the cabin. The poor shower curtain wasn’t big enough for the shower either, so I spent my time after the shower cleaning the water off the floor. Luckily we had our own towels to use to dry off with. Also, there were dead ants EVERYWHERE, even live ones. More than likely they were coming from the unfinished floor under the bed…what in world! Lastly, the internet connection kept coming and going outta service. Luckily it started working when it was time for bed.Even though the cabin is cute and quaint, it is not ready for guests. And I recommend getting a better cleaning service to clean up in between guest stays.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay in Helen. The price was very reasonable compared to other places in the area. Check in was super easy. The view of the valley and surrounding mountains from the cabin was beautiful. It’s a great place for a couple looking to get away. It’s far enough away from Main Street that it was peaceful and quiet. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay again. There were three things that would have made it better. The WiFi should be setup by cabin. The WiFi is common for all four cabins and I would assume the TVs are the same as well. The results of this were people from the other cabins trying to webcast to the TV in our cabin and setting up profiles on our Hulu account. The pull cord for the light on the ceiling fan was broken and there was no way to turn the fan on and the light off. Lastly not really a problem more of a warning, the angle of the shower head requires you to have the shower curtain pulled closed when you turn it on. If you turn the water on to adjust the temp before getting in without the curtain closed you will get wet and so will the floor.
Quaint place near town. Great location. Good photo opp overlooking town. Owner called to tell us about an issue and I was impressed with that. Place was nice and clean. Only place I've ever slept in where i liked the bed, pillows, and blankets. My only suggestion would be to supply the basic toiletries. We really enjoyed our one night baby moon getaway before baby gets here. We are 36 weeks and my wife was comfy as well. That speaks volumes.
We had a wonderful trip! It was so close to all of the shops (you could even see the shops from the windows) but had a nice private feel. The cabin was beautifully renovated and the host was very easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay here again.
Great location to the center of downtown Helen but far enough away to enjoy a quiet stay. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is at this cabin. We loved the heater in the bathroom as we staying in late December. We would visit again.

Great getaway
My hubby and I stayed here for three days. Great little cabin. Shower was small, but overall clean and cozy.
Great little cabin and very close to town. Had an issue with the heater but two minutes on the phone with the owner and it was resolved. He is also very friendly!
The accommodations were ok, the couch was not comfortable. My wife and I think also the mattress should be replaced being to soft and moved when one gets in or out of bed. Other than those, it was quiet and private which is what we cater to.
Super cute cabin - perfect for a quick weekend getaway for my husband and myself. Clean. All electric/appliances/wifi worked. Easy check-in/check-out process. I had to message host prior to trip and he responded quickly and was very helpful! Floors have been updated since last pictures posted. Thank you for a nice stay! :)
