We loved our stay on the lake. It was an amazing property right on the lake and Andrew was super communicative before and throughout our stay. Comfortable, good AC and every detail was thought through to make the experience pleasant.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay and loved the lake. It's a pleasure to rent to guests like you. Hope you'll be back!
Beautiful place to stay, newly renovated, enjoyed being in Orleans. My young adult daughter enjoyed it, too. We made popovers in the kitchen to bring to a relative's house - kitchen even had muffin pans, so we were good to go.

Husband and I came for Cape Cod Baseball and cycling. This location in Orleans was 1/4 mile from Firebirds field and less than a mile from bike rental at Orleans Cycle adjacent to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. It was immaculate and fit our needs perfectly. Owner Andrew was readily available to all our needs. The pond is amazing although we only enjoyed it from the dock. Great place for a swim! One warning, if you have cranky old knees, bring your hiking sticks to get up and down the hillside!
The place was exactly as described and seen in the photos. Everything we could have needed and then some was in the house. Extremely quiet neighborhood was fantastic for sleeping. Everything in town was a 3 minute drive so the location couldn’t be beat. The lake was very clean and fun to swim out to the floating platform. We met some of the neighbors who were very friendly and welcoming. The outdoor shower was probably my favorite. Being able to be outside with total privacy and looking up at the trees was amazing. I can’t saw enough good things about this place. Andrew was super accommodating and gracious. If you’re looking for a place to stay on the cape, make this your spot. Orleans is one of my favorite towns on the cape and I now have a new favorite place to stay when I visit.

Thanks very much for your detailed, engaging review. I'm so glad you enjoyed the location and amenities. Renting to people like you is a pleasure; I look forward to your return.
We just returned from our 1st trip to the Cape. The entire rental process was a breeze. The host, Andrew provided us with every single detail we could possibly want to know about the home and surrounding areas before arrival! Makes such a huge difference when you're in an unfamiliar location. We arrived to a clean space with plenty of towels, fresh linens on beds & nice little care packages in case you forgot any essentials. The location on Crystal Lake can't be beat. You could unpack and not leave the property. The use of shared paddle boards & kayaks was a fun bonus! Orleans is also a great jumping off point mid Cape for exploring the nearby towns. So many different activities in either direction. If we visit the Cape again, we would rent from Andrew without hesitation. Thanks for sharing your peaceful retreat, Andrew!

Thanks so much for your detailed, enthusiastic review. It's a true pleasure to share this property with such appreciative guests. You're welcome back anytime!
This townhouse is located close to the center or Orleans, and close to both the National Seashore and Bay beaches. The condo community consists of a house, a cottage and two attached duplex townhouses. All share the grounds, including the lakefront property. The lake is lovely. Single person kayaks are provided, which we used and were a lot of fun. The unit has a patio with outdoor table and chairs and an outdoor shower. The unit was spotless and well equipped. Everything you might need in the kitchen was provided. Knives were sharp (a rarity in a rental). Full size washer/dryer and dishwasher were included. Sliders in living room opened to the patio and had a nice view of the lake. The two bedrooms were upstairs; one had a lake view. The unit was spotless and it was easy to communicate with the host. Highly recommend!
Great stay! Served as our base of operations for our tours of Orleans, Chatham, and P-Town. Did get a chance to fly fish using the canoe and picked up 6-7 yellow perch, but zero recently stocked rainbow trout. Probably operator error on that one. Place was clean and well stocked with great views of the lake. Thanks!!
My family has spent summers in Orleans for 30 years, first renting on Meg's Lane (east of the Pond Road property and also right on Crystal Lake) then owning in the Grandview neighborhood. I love sharing the beauty and tranquility of the Cape with visitors seeking quiet recreation and family bonding experiences with upscale accommodation.
Why they chose this property
This property is very close to downtown Orleans' many amenities, but it's also in a quiet, residential neighborhood with plenty of year-round residents. And it's located right on Crystal Lake, with its clear, swimmable water, sandy beach, privacy, and natural peacefulness. Truly hard to beat.
What makes this property unique
Compact comfort at a competitive price. Most Crystal Lake properties lack lawns or usable open space, and very few face south (making them much sunnier). This property has all three. It also has unusual amenities such as watercraft (3 kayaks and a canoe), a brand new deck right on the water, and a swim dock. The views alone are consistent with much more expensive properties.
