Welcome to Alpine Gaste Haus! A perfect getaway for couples! Our apartment is located within a brief walk to downtown. Relax and have a night in or enjoy dining at one of the many fabulous restaurants within Helen, GA! We have a full kitchen offering refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, coffee maker, along with several other appliances. Don’t forget to sit a while on the front balcony and enjoy a nice evening overlooking main street. Alpine Gaste Haus is located above Helen's longest running, family package store, Alpine Brew Bottle Haus. Those adult beverages are just feet away! Wake up and enjoy a tasty breakfast at Dottie’s kitchen, convienantly located next door! We look forward to your upcoming stay with us!

This place is fantastic! It has everything you need for your stay. So close to everything that you don’t have to crank your car…just walk. This place will be our go to when we come back to Helen.

Weekend Getaway

Tyler’s place was great! Very clean, very comfortable, well stocked kitchen, and close walking distance to everything! The pictures truly do not do the place justice. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch. We’ll definitely book again!

Fantastic property a short walk from downtown

Pretty ideal spot for Helen. Spacious, not far walking to downtown, next to a beer store and a breakfast spot. Would stay again!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The property was super clean and check in was easily done. For a nice get away for the weekend; it was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Last minute trip

Our first time to Helen and a last minute weekend getaway with my husband. This is the perfect little place to stay. Extremely clean, comfy, cozy, awesome people watching. Tyler is an excellent host. We can't wait to come back. Thank you.

This place is perfect in every way! It's inviting, clean, comfy and walking distance to everything you want to do in Helen. We went during the holidays and you can see the gorgeous Christmas lights from the front porch. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing stay!

This cozy little spot was an absolute gem. We could walk to everywhere we wanted to go and there is an amazing breakfast restaurant next door - Dottie’s home of the cat head biscuits! Place was extremely clean and cozy, updated appliances, quiet area despite being above a liquor store. We met Tyler and he was super nice. Cashiers at the Alpine Brew were very friendly. We had a wonderful time. Oktoberfest 2024 we will be back 😁

Great location

The property was exactly as described. Tyler was super nice and easily accessible for any questions that we had. Easy access to parking. Extremely clean and well decorated. it was a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. Perfect for a couple. If I could give more than five stars I would. Perfect access to everything, we did not have to drive anywhere the whole two days that we were there. Dottie’s next door is a must for breakfast. They have the best biscuits! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Hopefully we will be back again next fall for a weekend

Beautiful, clean, welcoming place. Furnished comfortably and modern. The only problem was the bathroom. It was built too small considering there was a large supply room behind it, and more room could have been easily accomplished. But, I have been a custom home builder all my life, so I do have a critical eye....We had a wonderful time

Great Get a way

I would give this property and Tyler 5 +++ stars. The property was exactly as described and communicating with Tyler was excellent and although it is set a top a business I have no negative comments at all, and if your a people watcher I say a plus. My wife and I would set on the deck and watch people go by thus adding entertainment at times. The location is perfect, all the eating establishments you could ever want and there is a dollar general a block or so away if you get anything. We went for the balloon Festival and although we did not get to see the “ Balloon Race to The Atlantic “ on Thursday morning there were other activities Thursday through Saturday evening. There is mountain roller coaster and tubing with walking distance from the property.

Incredibly clean and safe. Free parking was great and you’re still within walking distance of everything you would likely want to do in downtown Helen. The kitchen is well equipped and nicer and newer than many we have seen before, even though we never used it :-). I was worried about noise since we were above a liquor store but it wasn’t an issue at all.This was way better than where we stayed last year and we would love to stay here again!

Long weekend

Planned a long weekend in Helen and found this cute rental to stay. As soon as we walked in we loved it, clean, roomy, had everything you needed. Short walk to everything Helen. We will definitely return.
