Please be cautious when going down to the creek and please do not mess with the snakes if you see them. We have provided insect repellant and citronella candles to help prevent insects from joining your party (located in the shed).
We do not provide pellets for the pellet fireplace so if you would like to utilize that, please let us know and we can provide pellets at an additional cost.

Upon arrival there was a couch sitting on the walkway to the front door with a "Free" sign on it. There was no manual explaining: 1) The use of portable heaters or baseboard heaters2) Things to do upon entering or leaving2) Local attractions4) Emergency contact informationDid find a single sheet under the silverware tray in a drawer the next morning. It did contain a few of the above items.Dirty pancake turners, still had dried egg on them. We had to buy several pans and skillets because there was very little to choose from.Mouse poop on backsplash in kitchen. And Mouse in upstairs bathroomSorry.
We absolutely loved this cozy house on the water! The scenery was beautiful and there was plenty of room for our family and the grandparents to stay. It was clean and had all of the necessities. The property manager was also very quick to respond to all of my questions as well. We are planning to return when it is warmer outside so the kids can play in the water. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Spent three wonderful days, beautiful setting right on the Big Stoney Creek.
The home was very clean, well stocked, the manager responded quickly to e-mails and checking in went smoothly. There is a nice sized deck and patio overlooking the creek. If you are an avid trout fisherman you couldn’t ask for a more ideal location. This home is located on the stocked portion of the creek and if you want to fish for native brook trout you can drive a few miles up the mountains and fish the Little Stoney Creek. I plan to return later this year.
