Our family of 4 stayed there while visiting Hartford for our daughter’s college graduation. Great location great property and responsive host. Would def stay again!
We had a wonderful stay. The property was clean and nicely decorated. The owner was very helpful and prompt with communication, even allowed us to check in a little early so we could settle in before seeing the new grandchild.
The house was as promised. It was a great location in a quiet, very accessible neighborhood. It was very clean and fairly well supplied. We would have liked to have had access to more paper goods and the ability to adjust the heat to our own needs.
Nice clean property located near the convergence of all major Hartford highways. All amenities you can think of are in the house. Communication is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone and would book again on my next visit.
I wish we could've stayed longer. It's a popular listing and hard to get an extended stay there. Worked really well for what we needed.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
When we entered the house a bedroom window was open 3 inches. The heat was terrible. Thermostat was disabled to not allow over 72 degrees. The listing stated up to 75 degrees. With the weather in the 30’s it was cold especially when the heat coming on twice a day. Pressure relief valves were going off every time the heat was actually on. Tub drain was plugged as well. Hot water was set at a scalding hot level. Overall appearance with modifications was terrible and obviously not done by a pro. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they were homeless.
Place is immaculate. Beds are comfortable, hotel like dispensers for all essential products. Great location close to the highway and Glastonbury Center. Owner is very responsive.

Peter:
Thank you for being a great guest, you are welcomed back whenever your next in the area.
Very comfortable house for our stay to visit with family. It was conveniently located near highway and Glastonbury shopping. Owner was extremely communicative and helpful.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The host went over and beyond to ensure my package was safe. The decor and ambiance of the home was very comforting and we felt very safe. As a solo traveler, I will highly recommend this stay not only for couples but for female solo travelers.
The property was adequate for our trip because we were gone every day for most of our stay. I couldn't recommend it for someone who wants to spend a lot of time there. The kitchen was not equipped as well as I like, the back yard was not somewhere that you would want to spend time in and there was no patio or outdoor chairs, table or a grill. The bath was good and hand good towels but the kitchen did not have enough towels and no wash clothes. Beds were comfortable and place was clean.

Greg, we appreciate your stay and feedback. Additionally, the kitchen clothes and towels were locate in the drawer next to the silverware. The back yard has a picnic table that seats 6 (not sure how you could have missed that) and a propane grill was returned to the back yard (previously out due to repairs needed from an incident with a past guest.
You should be able to observe all of above during your next stay.

The house is generally run down. There are gouges and nicks in woodwork, appliances, countertops and furniture. The listing says it sleeps 5, but five people can’t eat at the table or sit in the living room together. The house was also dirty with dust on table tops and radiators , and grease on the front of the stove. Further there were stains on mattresses and pillows - only discovered when stripping beds prior to leaving. When we reported that one room was not getting heat, we were told to try leaving the bathroom door closed. When we reported that there were mouse droppings in the silverware drawer and had to wash all the silver, we were told there was a cleaning solution under the sink to clean the silverware drawer. When we reported that the soap dispenser in the shower was broken, we were told they would order a new one and send someone to install it when it arrived.
