Located in the heart of Suttons Bay, Front Cottage is a on the first floor of a vintage-style house with three bedrooms and one bathroom.

Enter from the street into a charming living room with nice decorative touches. There are hardwood floors throughout. It has a gas fireplace, air conditioning, and a washer/dryer. The bedrooms have one queen bed, one full bed, and a daybed.

A gorgeous beach is just around the corner–a very easy walk. In fact, all of Sutton's Bay is easily walkable. Check out the unique shops and restaurants! The library just behind the cottage offers free WIFI, and the Leelanau Trail, farm markets, and wineries are all close by. There is plenty to do in town or within a short drive in any direction.

This was not our first time renting this cottage. Unfortunately, this stay wasn’t as nice as in previous years. It was clean when we arrived, but smelled very stuffy, like it had been closed up for quite some time. The pillows on the couch had a musty smell that was very noticeable and unsettling.

Labor Day weekend stay

Great location and very clean and comfortable. Don't come to this place expecting to be able to connect to the Wi-Fi or watch television though.. 4 tvs and only one of them in the bedroom worked. Property manager, Lindsay is great to work with. Overall good stay. Thanks!

Green Shutter stay

Very well kept, craftsman home. Very good layout, great eat in kitchen. Right on the Main Street, restaurants right next door and directly across the street. The beach was viewable from the back yard. Short walking distance to the bay. Lots of unique shopping opportunities in the next block. Would definitely stay here again.

Fun and relaxing

The location of the house was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants and the beach. The rental shop was close too and we wheeled our kayaks and paddle boards to the beach. It was clean and quiet. We hit the road twice to climb the dunes too. Just a great place. We will be back!

Nice location on the edge of downtown Suttons Bay

We love staying in Suttons Bay, as everything is walkable. This house was at the north end of the city, but still walkable to restaurants. There were 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. There was a restaurant right next door and you could hear people talking and their music, while it was open. But luckily, it closed at 8:00 pm. My husband and I stayed in the front bedroom and you could hear the traffic in the morning. Other than that, the kitchen and living room were roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking.

Floor dirty-kids feet were black after walking on it. Front door lock didn’t turn well to open and needs maintenance. Only one trash receptacle for 3 units. Not enough. Otherwise good location and well stocked.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice home clean however, the key in the lock box worked very poorly opening and locking the front door, and did not get it to work in the side door at all. Because the large shrubs along the side of the house are so overgrown when the wind blows throughout the night, the shrubs grate against the screens and the windows. Change the front door lock to a coded key lock pad. Trim some of the greenery and then you get a five star review.
