Great location for Mardi Gras parades! Beds super comfy. Met our needs for a long weekend. It is a 3 bedroom with 3 queen beds. Felt very safe with security measures. Parking is on the street but we had no issues finding a spot in front of apartment. Host very responsive.

Code didn’t work. Contacted host. Reset and then it worked. Listing says Dishwasher on site, but there isn’t.No dishrags, dish towels or extra trash bags, which have always been standard in everything we’ve rented. Broken window and bathroom light not working. Wi-Fi is very slow. Kept spinning. The unit is cute and beds are comfortable. Only a sofa that seats 3 and 1 chair to sit on, other than dining chairs. Not very good for visiting and watching tv. Kitchen is nice. Only 2 teaspoons for cereal and ice cream. Had to use large soup spoons. Five adults so things were not great. Reached out to host and he was not cooperative, and would not respond after I asked what we should do with trash, because there were no instructions and we were there 5 days. Like I said it’s cute, especially for 200 years or so old, but we will try something else next time.

We had to look up the vrbo listing to make sure we had the right apartment. This place needs A LOT of sprucing up. Beyond the condition of the place, the host fails to mention only street parking available, the apartment is on second floor in the back. The sidewalks are broken to pieces so suitcase in tow difficult. Upon arrival, one must climb a steep and narrow outside stair case, enter the building by code, walk through the front building, walk down a short staircase to the apartment in back and enter another code at the front door. This is not an accessible place for anyone with any physical challenges. The list of interior suggestions would be too long here. In general, inadequate window coverings (none in bathrooms so we used a towel), bathroom vanity bulbs out, minimal decoration, no towels in kitchen, one bathroom is in the kitchen, toilet didn’t flush (we fixed it) minimal seating in living space, gross refrigerator…the only positive was - beds were comfortable.
