Built in the warm tones of *Pietra Leccese* using traditional craftsmanship, this beautifully restored villa features dramatic star-vaulted ceilings and is set within a private, gated 2-hectare olive grove—just under 1km from the nearest town.



The Space

The villa is centered around a serene, walled courtyard—truly the heart of the masseria. At night, the grand glass-panelled entrance glows with light, welcoming you into an unforgettable stay.

Very comfortable and high quality property, with excellent facilities and services. We enjoyed the catered breakfast option, a pizza night, yoga class and a chef dinner, all seamlessly arranged for us by Paola. A very happy and memorable holiday!

Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Il Trullino. A wonderful place for our entire family. The kids particularly loved the pool and the trampoline as well as picking fresh vegetables from the kitchen garden. Such a calming retreat, we almost never wanted to leave the house! Thanks also to Angelo and Patrizia who were always when we needed assistance and restaurant recommendations. We will surely come back.

A gem in the middle of olive trees!

We spent a week at the Masseria (and would have liked to extend our stay to a month!). We had a long drive coming from northern Italy and were all tired when we arrived. The house and courtyard are so beautiful that we immediately felt relaxed and happy. We had activities planned for our first full day in Puglia, but could not get ourselves to leave this beautiful home! Our week flew by and we were able to visit part of Puglia (Arborabello, Lecce, Otranto, Grotta de la Poesia, Santa Maria de Leuca, Porto Badisco for kayaking), but we will definitely have to go back, because it's a wonderful region of the country and we have so much more to see. The house is very comfortable. We are a family of five and only needed three bedrooms, but two more are available. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, which made our sleep very pleasant (and the rooms are completely dark when the shutters are closed). The kitchen is very well-equipped and we had every breakfast at one of the two outdoor dining tables; there's also an outdoor bbq (hibachi type). The pool is as inviting as the pictures show, we spent a lot of time in there! There's a terrace on top of the house and we were treated to fireworks one evening (great timing on our part!). The olive grove is beautiful and we walked around the property every day. Paola was very helpful with everything, including restaurant recommendations (L'Altro Baffo in Otranto was excellent). We often rent houses on Homeaway and this house is certainly at the top of our list. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to go back!

Peaceful, luxurious and relaxing place

Located in an olive garden, with all the amenities you need to spend a splendid holiday whether you go by couple, family or with a group of friends. The rooms are very clean. When you arrive at the masseria, you arrive in a heaven of peace. Beaches as well as villages or cities (such as Lecce, Otranto, ...) worthwhile visiting, are nearby. Puglia has maintained his authenticity, with nice little villages, beautiful landscapes, good italian food and wine (not at all expensive) .

Beautiful Days at the "Masseria "Il Trullino

"Spending few days every summer at Masseria "Il Trullino" has become a beautiful tradition that we hope to continue in the future. This place has something magical: the ancient olives trees, the beautiful architecture of the buildings, the generosity of the spaces inside and outside, the warmth of the sun, the smell of flowers, the freshness of the pool.... everything here means peace, tranquility and beauty. We have two young children and they absolutely love the place the same as we do and for once all the family is in agreement. This is the perfect destination for a couple of families or a group of friends who want to enjoy the true spirit of an Italian summer. The space is amazing and provides all the privacy people need but keeping everyone close. The coast is very close with truly beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters but Salento is not just that, it is also culture, incredible food and hospitality in truly Italian style so it really is a place that has something for everyone. I would definitely recommend it for an unforgivable holiday.
