Beautiful and well maintained!

We loved our stay at the house! It is a beautiful house with fabulous porches. It is across the street from the lake and has very pretty views from the house. There is an easy walk to the neighborhood lakeside park. The owners are super-helpful and respond to questions immediately. We would recommend this wholeheartedly!

Fabulous summer lake getaway!

Our family had a wonderful relaxing vacation at this home nearby the scenic shores of Lake Austin. We echo all of the praises in prior reviews of this wonderful house that is extremely well-maintained by the most welcoming, contentious hosts in our renting experience. Every need that came up during our stay was dealt with promptly and with class. The nearby park is a thriving hub of the community that provided us with endless entertainment and a lifetime of memories. My family looks forwards to returning to this special place provided by Kathy and her family!

Awesome Lake Austin Stay

We recently relocated to the Austin area and had the privilege to call the lake house home. We stayed there two months while we were waiting for a home to purchase. The home was furnished with everything you could ask for, we had great neighbors and our boys attended the award winning EANES ISD. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of living in the lake community and all it had to offer. The serenity of Lake Austin living is hard to beat. Excellent Location and Great River View from deck.

My wife and 18 month old twins loved this property and me too. You had a great view of the Colorado River and scenic bluffs across the river. The neighbor is great for walks and bike riding. The neighbor park is great for swimming and enjoying time with family. The 2nd floor deck is awesome for our kids playing and morning and evening meals. Kathy and Greg are great hosts. No issues with the property. I would stay again and again. My best home-away experience ever.

This house is a great experience! Water views from porch or balcony.

We really enjoyed our stay at this comfortable home. Kathy and Greg have a gem of a house in Austin Lake Estates, we will definitely be returning to this property. Comfy, cozy living room and bedrooms. The bathrooms are spa like. No detail has been overlooked by the owners, all the amenities of home! Enjoyed the front yard, porch and balcony. The neighborhood and neighbors are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a five star experience.

Fantastic house on the lake!

This lake house was perfect for our transition from Hawaii to Austin. The owners Greg and Kathy lived across the street and were the most accomodating, welcoming, and gracious hosts we could ask for. It felt more like living next to family and they have become dear friends. The amenities at the park were great. We spent many afternoons playing basketball and swimming at the lake and the pool. Everything you could need is included in the house. We really enjoyed the enormous upstairs porch with the view of the lake. As a retired Marine Corps Officer, I could see this being a great transition house for people moving here for Army Futures Command (AFC). Conveniently located near shopping and a short drive to downtown. Would gladly stay here again and highly recommended for anyone looking for a longer term stay.

Great home in a fantastic neighborhood!

I was fortunate to be able to stay at this property for over six months while working on a government contract. While the house is nice and cozy and the owners are continuously working to improve and modernize it, enough can’t be said about the the wonderful location and community. To begin with the house...its a cute 3 bed / 2 bath lake house with nice walkout decks, both upstairs and downstairs. It’s stocked with everything that you’ll need for your stay and the owners are more then willing to accommodate you with any extras that are required for your specific needs. The view of the lake is spectacular and its literally right across the street. In back there is plenty of room for parking on the property and a sizable gas grill. To give you an idea of the space...I was able to park a 6 x 12 travel trailer, a boat and two full sized pickups underneath the covered parking on the property. The location is terrific! Despite being nestled away in a quiet lake community, you’re never more then 15-20 minutes from basically anything you would want to do in the Austin area. Additionally, there are several options for food and other essentials that are within minutes and a few places that deliver right to the door. There is a park that is about a two minute walk down the road that provides lake access, a boat launch, grills, docks, a basketball court and a swimming pool. So, if you have children, they’ll have plenty to do right around the house. Did I mention that the lake is literally right across the road??? It’s definitely worth highlighting that benefit again. As for the community...I have literally traveled across the United States for work, and have either lived or spent significant time in over half the States, encompassing all of the regions of our country and have yet to find a better community! The people that I met while staying at the property have become more then life-long friends...they’re family. Do yourself a favor and rent the property and see for yourself. More importantly, if you’re the social type, get out and meet the owners and neighbors, they are truly sensational people and will ensure your visit exceeds expectations. You might even acquire some new friends in the process.

Lake Austin Lifestyle

We loved this house! So much closer to the lake than the pictures seem. We enjoyed the beautiful views almost as much as we enjoyed getting out on (and in!) the water at the nearby park. The house is very nicely furnished and totally updated. Everything we needed was there; comfortable beds, very nice bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. Just wish we could have stayed longer! We highly recommend this house and will stay there again!

Great, clean and updated house on the lake!

Our family of four had a great experience in this rental house while our house was being remodeled. The space and layout was great with amazing porches both downstairs and up. The views were beautiful. The house was very clean and updated. The neighborhood was great with only a minute walk to the lake, park and pool. Kathy and Greg are so incredibly nice and accommodating and very responsive. Highly recommended!

Loved it!

The location couldn't have been any better! The house offered every amenity! Our landlords were so accommodating, and gracious! The neighbors even introduced themselves and offered their assistance during our month long stay. The park was the center of the community and offered a host of fun activities. All around a very positive experience!! Definitely recommend!!!!

Great house, community, and landlords

This was a great rental during our transition to Austin. Home was well furnished and had everything that you needed. The listing description was right on point. The home was very well maintained and the landlords were more than accommodating with any issues that arose during our stay. We loved the community so much that we purchased a home there and are now fortunate to call our landlords our neighbors.

Amazing!

The location is incredible. There is a great view of the lake from both stories of the property with many large windows. It's 3 houses away from the community center that has a pool, playground, sand volleyball court, BBQs and private lake swimming access. The home is lovely and very clean! The kitchen and bathrooms have been recently remodeled. The furniture is stylish and comfortable. The owners are friendly, respectful and very helpful. I came to Austin for a summer vacation and because of this community, the owners of this home, the great neighbors and the school district, we decided to buy a place in the neighborhood. I can't say enough good things about this rental!

This is a wonderful home with big decks that look right on to the lake. Being only two houses away from the pool and boat launch make it a fabulous summer place to be. We love this neighborhood that is eclectic, family friendly and as beautiful a place as there is.
