The property is lovely! It is the second time we have stayed here over the Christmas holiday to go skiing. Other than a few unforeseen maintenance issues, which the property manager addressed immediaely it was a wonderful stay. She generously offered a very nice discount for our next booking to compensate for the minor issues that she was able to manage immediately and with due diligence, especially with the added challenges of it being a holiday week. It was a wonderful week after the holiday, and everyone had a great time!

Family vacation-We spent a week here (ages 5-79/3 generations). The 10 of us had plenty of room to spread out. The home and grounds were clean and well maintained.The beach is small, but more than adequate for the little ones. The lake is great. We rented a pontoon boat from a local company (Up North Pontoon Rentals) since the owners boat was out of service.The kitchen is equipped for a large crowd. There is a beverage fridge on the lower level and a bonus “garage” refrigerator.There were no issues with communication or check-in.The lake was so beautiful that we only went to town(Bellaire) one evening for dinner(Chloe’s- reservation) and walked about. There’s a great candy store for the littles.I booked a week stay again for Summer, 2026 before we left!

Extended Family Vacay

We loved the house and its location! There were 14 of us, and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep as well as spread out as needed. The kitchen was updated with great appliances and good prep space. It was great having 3.5 bathrooms with this large of a group. We loved the direct access to the lake and were able to rent their pontoon boat for some great fun on the lake along with paddle boards and other water stuff. We were also close to a grocery store and Torch Lake. All in all we loved our vacation spot!

Peaceful Oasis

This is a beautiful house and location with every convenience needed. There were 8 adults in our party with plenty of room to move around. The master suite with its king size bed was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Although comfortable, the beds in the other bedrooms were smaller, maybe full size. The property was open and allowed enough room for everyone to have their own space. It was a little pricey but worth it. I would definitely recommend this property and would consider renting it again.

The house itself was as described. We enjoyed the large dining room, the living room, and the spacious bedrooms. The condition the house is currently in is where we ran into numerous problems.1. Upon arrival, there were dead ants on the floor in the kitchen and dining areas. We encountered live ants all weekend mainly in the dining area and kitchen, but a few were also found in the bedrooms, one of our guests even found an ant crawling up her sleeve while eating dinner. There are ant traps scattered all around the house on the floors, so this is obviously a known issue to the owner or property manager. 2. The locks on the exterior doors of the house do not feel secure, and look like they have been tampered with in the past. This was unsettling for the safety of our guests.3. When we first arrived, the fridge was warm and was displaying "E" on the display. After pulling out the fridge and unplugging it from the wall, the fridge appeared to work as expected. On the last morning of our stay, we woke up to the fridge being warm again and displaying another "E" on the display. The fridge must've shut off overnight because all of our food was no longer cold and had to be thrown away. This was very unfortunate and wasteful.4. The kitchen fan was covered in dust5. Dishes and utensils had old food debris left on them and needed to be rewashedThere are more issues to mention, but VRBO has a max character limit on reviews.

End of summer getaway

The house is just as pictured. It gave my family the room we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed for all our cooking needs. Loved the lake. It stayed shallow for quite a ways out. My only concern is it seems a portion of the beachfront has been left to have the grasses grow into the beach. In the picture the beach area is longer more of a rectangle. I would be disappointed if more of the sandy beach would be lost. My grandchildren loved playing in the sand. Overall, it was perfect.

Amazing!

I booked this property at the very last minute due to an issue with the home we previously rented in the area. Sue at Blair Management quickly responded to my booking request and answered all our questions ensuring we were able to relocate in less than 24 hours. The house was immaculate! It was very clean and well stocked with everything we could possibly need plus little extras i.e. an apple charging station, and throw blankets in the living rooms, etc. The kitchen had everything a family would need to cook and feed a large group and a table that comfortably sat everyone! The mud room with a washer and dryer in this space was ideal for a big group of skiers and snowboarders to take off their wet gear and put it directly in the washer. The living rooms and bedrooms, including the bunk space in the basement, were well laid out and put together. I can't say enough about this property! It was gorgeous and perfect for our group of twelve. This is definitely one of the best homes I have rented from VRBO. The owner and management team covered every detail a family would need while vacationing. Although we were there for winter sports the lake and lakefront of this property would be wonderful for a summer vacation as well. The lawn and outer property area is beautiful and ample enough for summer lawn games or just hanging out. We will be coming back in December 2025 and hopefully for a summer vacation in the near future. I highly recommend this property for any season!
