Charming Midtown 1-Bedroom: Steps to Ice Blocks

A bright ground-floor one-bedroom across from the Ice Blocks, three city blocks of retail, boutiques, cafes, restaurants, and bars. Grocery stores, coffee shops, and parks are minutes on foot, and you're close to the Golden 1 Center, DOCO, the State Capitol, and Old Sacramento. The airport is a 20-minute drive.

Inside it's quiet and simple: a queen bed, plenty of seating, fast wifi, and everything you need to cook and do laundry in the unit. Ideal for a solo traveler or couple.

THE SPACE

A comfortable one-bedroom with a queen bed, a 55-inch smart TV, fast wifi, and plush seating to unwind on. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there's an all-in-one washer/dryer in the unit. Your stay includes plenty of towels, toiletries, extra blankets, and pillows.

We are pet friendly. Please include the number of pets in your reservation. Guests who do not disclose a pet will be charged the pet fee at checkout. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by pets, including additional cleaning for stains or spots.

Late checkout requires approval at least 24 hours in advance and cannot always be granted due to cleaning schedules. Same-day requests are $25 per half hour, charged at the top of the hour.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests have sole access to the home throughout their stay, using a distinct door code for entry. Free on-street parking is available. Guests are provided a guest parking pass for the duration of their stay.

Set in a tranquil and welcoming neighborhood, the unit is situated alongside a neighboring rental unit on the ground floor as well as the primary home above. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a peaceful environment by keeping noise levels to a minimum and avoiding disturbances for our fellow residents.

This was a perfect little place for a quick overnight stay. Great location and within a short walking distance to plenty of restaurants. Parking is kind of a bear but overall, nice place.

The studio was perfect for our concert weekend getaway! It was clean, cozy, and all the amenities we used worked perfect. We easily found a parking spot right by the studio. The parking pass was easy to find and use. Overall, very pleasant stay and hosts! :) Would love to stay again!

Upon arriving at this property we were very delighted at seeing a charming place. We had everything we needed and the location was perfect. Clean and delightful for sure, there were snacks and even toothbrushes with mouthwash, very thoughtful. My personal preference for coffee is half n half and there was only flavored creamers but hey I made do with black coffee. Definitely give this place a try before booking with anyone else, overall excellent!

Great place to stay

This was a great place to stay. The pictures online don’t do this little studio justice. It seems bigger in person and its very well kept up. I will highly recommend to friends and family in the future and will stay here again myself. I love that it was pet friendly and I can have a safe place for my fur babies to stay as well. We are very happy with our stay here.

Perfect studio in a perfect location

I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed staying here. The studio is nice and cozy, with everything you need--comfortable bed, full kitchen, and a little extra room to move around. It's perfect for a solo or couple. And the neighborhood is excellent. I only wish my stay had been longer so I could've explored a bit more. Check in was a breeze, and communication with the hosts was great. Highly recommended!

Hot Night in Sacramento - Great Stay

Check in was simple after a 4.5 hour drive. The studio is very cool at street level. Clean design, very comfortable bed and as it was 107 degrees outside, a very efficient air conditioner. Got up in the morning and walked the dogs over to Philz for Coffee and an awesome/fun gift store named Strapping. Would definitely stay here again.

We're Lana and Kyle, and we have lived in Sacramento our whole lives, more than 40 years. We fell in love with Midtown's energy, walkability, food scene, tree-lined streets and sense of community, and we love being close to the Ice Blocks and catching shows at Channel 24 and Ace of Spades.

Our homes are part of that story. These historic Sacramento spaces are over 100 years old, and we've kept their charm while adding the comfort guests expect, from pour-over kettles to blackout curtains. We host the way we'd want to be hosted, and our recommendations come from actually living here.

When we're not hosting, you'll probably find us walking our dogs through the neighborhood or grabbing coffee. Whether you need a dinner spot, extra towels or help getting in, we're always just a message away.

Why they chose this property

Midtown is the part of Sacramento that rewards leaving the car parked. The Ice Blocks are a few minutes' walk away, three city blocks of ground-floor retail, boutiques, coffee, restaurants, and bars built into old industrial buildings. Grocery stores, dog parks, and cafes are all within walking distance, and the Golden 1 Center, DOCO, the State Capitol, Old Sacramento, and the Railroad Museum are close by. The airport is a 20-minute drive. It is a quiet residential street at night and a lively neighborhood by day, which is the combination most people are actually looking for.
