The property was really cute and comfortable for our family gathering. Very clean, well maintained, host is/was very friendly and communicative. We loved our stay
Amazing place to stay, more than accommodating with anything you might need while you're away from home. Had trouble with check in but owner was very responsive and was able to get ahold of me even thk VRBO was down. 10/10 would highly recommend staying here
Damion was very accommodating. We had a rehearsal dinner in the back yard and Damion made sure it was beautiful. Location was perfect …15 min to airport 15 min to venue.
This property is very welcoming and clean. We could see that the owner has made extra effort at providing everything a visitor could need. We enjoyed the lovely backyard for a bbq dinner. It is welcoming to little ones also with games and books. The kitchen is well-stocked. We loved it and hope to return.
Place was perfect for our weekend getaway for son’s basketball tournament. Had every we needed. Host was very accommodating to adjust to our schedule change.
The house was amazing, the check in process was great. The house was very clean and easy to get into. The property manager was very responsive when i asked questions. I would definitely stay at this property again!
We were in town for a volleyball tournament that was being held at the Podium. The location of this home was perfect 15 minutes away from anywhere you need to go. Right down the street from the Garland District & Ferguson Cafe for a nice Main Street feel. Clean, spacious & safe. Highly recommended.
The place had a great location, accommodations, cleanliness and the host was quick and responsive! Such a great deal we were very comfortable in our stay. Thank you!
We loved staying here during our vacay in Spokane. The house is beautifully furnished and very clean. When we walked in, we expected to find a cold house. Instead, we walk into a warm cozy home. We really appreciated thst
The home has been nicely remodeled with very nice touches. It is well stocked and very clean. There was nothing we could have asked for that wasn’t there. It would be the perfect place for a family reunion. Hoping it is still available when we visit again.
What a wonderful place for small family gatherings. Stayed for a couple nights for my son’s college graduation. Our host had the place beautifully prepared for our stay. He attended to all the little details that you particularly forget about on a trip. Drinks in the fridge, coffee at the ready. Put the A/C on for us before we arrived. It was large enough we could have some family over after graduation and celebrate. It’s right in the Garland district and just a short walk away from shops, music, eateries and entertainment. I highly recommend for young families too.
I reserved the property for two days but we had a change of plans and didn't end up needing to access the house until the second evening of my reservation. I punched in the code to access the house and upon entering heard voices from inside the house. The homeowner came out of a back room and told us that he was there working on a painting project because he didn't think we were coming after all.
This was very surprising as my reservation was for the two nights - I PAID for the two nights and was checking in during my reservation period.
He offered to clean up the project and leave so we could stay there but at that point, the situation was so awkward and the paint smell obvious, that we just left. I contacted VRBO to get a refund for the night I was not able to use the house as needed - and reserved - and they reached out to the homeowner - without a response. I also messaged the owner through the VRNO site and have not received a response.
I would also question the safety of the neighborhood this house is in. It was dark when we arrived and I didn't recognize the front of the house based on the picture in the listing. It would be helpful if the listing noted that you actually park and access the property from a back alley. I can't actually speak to the cleanliness of the inside of the property since I didn't make it past the back entry because of the shocking and uncomfortable situation with the homeowner working on a painting project in the house when we arrived.

Response from VrboOwner on 11 May 2024
Worst guest Ive ever had. POOR communication. On the day of or actually the evening of check in, I reached out to the guest because she asked for my door code the day before check in and never said anything AFTER I replied and gave it to her. After a couple of messages from me reaching out to see if all was ok and no response I became a little leary of our messaging interaction. We are into the next day (evening) a little less 12 hours before they would have had to check out. I go to the property to inspect and no guest. So I enter the property for a safety check and no one was there. I messaged guest to see if they were ok. Now it's almost 11 pm and we figured that they were a no show. We DID start some touching up upstairs and NOT a full blown painting project. She randomly walks in the door after 11 pm to both of our surprise. I offered to leave and she said she'll find another place to stay. VRBO said her communication was poor and VRBO sided with us saying that she SHOULDNT receive a refund even though I offered at least a 50% refund. The neighborhood is quite quaint and historic. If you think you might feel uneasy about where you stay, you might want to your homework before booking versus judging after the fact. Communication is KEY in EVERY relationship.
