This was the first time our family went to Dewey Beach and we had an amazing time. The condo was perfect for our family vacation. The kids loved the pool and the short walk to the beach. We had an issue with a lost remote and Mary immediately had one sent to the condo. Would highly recommend staying at the lovely condo.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was beautifully decorated, very clean and stocked with everything a guest would need! The location was perfect…within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The balcony has an amazing view of the back bay and is great for people watching. Communication with the host was always answered quickly…Mary was so helpful and accommodating! We will definitely be back!

The condo was beautiful, and had such a great amount of rooms/beds for our big family. It was the prefect amount of space. We were grateful for the sound machines in the rooms as well for nights when the bars were lively. We love the rooftop pool - a must for a vacation with kids. The location is great and Mary was so welcoming and easy to communicate with! So glad we found this listing for our vacation this year!

Mary's home is amazing!! Beautiful and clean and very well equipped with everything needed for a beach vacation. Location is perfect for beach access and local restaurants, bars, and activities. Mary was an amazing communicator and she worked so hard, while out of the country, to attempt to settle an issue with VRBO customer service. I cannot say enough about our stay and how wonderful Mary is. Would definitely stay again!!

The host was amazing and she made check in a breeze. She communicated with us very quickly to help our stay be perfect. We had horrible weather but the balcony was a nice feature to help make the best of our time. The condo was very clean, big, and perfect for our girls weekend! We will go back for a future trip and hopefully we will have good weather to be able to use the outdoor pool because it looked gorgeous! The fireplace was a wonderful bonus.

Very nice stay in Dewey for St. Patty's Day/ opening weekend. Condo was excellent. Extremely clean and well appointed. Location is great and walkable to all the Dewey hot spots. Host was extremely helpful and responsive. Would absolutely stay again.

We have always loved staying in this building but this was the first time staying in this particular unit. It was beautiful and extremely clean. Mary and her husband were very easy to communicate with and were always very prompt in getting back to us about any questions or concerns. When we arrived, we were told the dryer was not working. While this was concerning because we were traveling with three young children, including an infant, Mary and her husband worked tirelessly to have a brand new dryer delivered within days of our stay. We appreciated their attentiveness and would recommend this unit to anyone traveling with a larger family.

Large spacious condo. There are sound machines but you definitely have the base beat sound until the bar across the street closes so music beating until at 1 am. The street lights beam in the bedroom and living room definitely need better blackout curtains. The elevators had and issue and with make up done for a wedding ended up running up 4 flights of stairs.

Amazing Condo!

Beautiful, clean, and extremely well-located.

I just stayed here with my spouse, kids, and parents and we had a fabulous time. The condo had everything we needed and was clean, bright, and great for a family who wanted to hang out. We made good use of the large balcony and walked to the beach and often lunch or dinner. Drive to Rehoboth was less than 10 minutes if you want to hang out there too. We would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect home away from home!

The owner, Mary was one of the most accommodating people I’ve ever worked with. She treated us like friends, trying to help to make our vacation be the best ever. The condo is beautifully decorated with the most incredible location….looking left to the bay and right to the ocean. If you love live music, you can enjoy it right from your balcony. We loved it!

5/5 Stars for Luxury, Space, and Location (With a Tip for Light Sleepers!)•The Indoor Space & Cleanliness: The condo itself is incredibly spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Upon arrival, we were thrilled to find the entire place absolutely immaculate and sparkling clean.•The Property & Amenities: Absolutely luxurious. The rooftop infinity pool and indoor pool are gorgeous. We also loved having easy access to both the calm bay waters and the ocean beach (just a 5-minute walk).•The Balcony: This was the highlight of our stay! It was the central hangout spot for our group to watch the sunrise over the Atlantic, sunset over the bay, and do some fun people-watching.•Location & Convenience: Perfect position near great restaurants. The Jolly Trolley stops right out front. The parking garage is great, though tight for large vehicles. Once you park, you won't need your car. The locker stocked with beach chairs and toys was a massive plus.•Noise Tip: The proximity to the action means weekend noise. The Rusty Rudder plays loud music until 1:00 AM on Friday and Saturday nights. The host is highly responsive and leaves sound machines, but we found the box fans in the condo were the real heroes for blocking out the late-night bass.An incredibly beautiful place—we would definitely stay here again!

I grew up in DE and spent many weekends in Dewey during my youth.. Once my children were born, we spent our annual summer vacations in Dewey, dreaming of the day we could afford to have a place of our own. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to purchase this condo a few years back and we love sharing it with our guests, who we hope love Dewey and our home as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

The condo is in the Residences at Lighthouse Cove, which is in the heart of Dewey Beach. Everything is in walking distance...the beach, the bay (with lots of watersports available), and all the restaurants and bars. I love walking on the beach in the morning and evening...nothing melts your troubles away like the ocean waves.

What makes this property unique

My favorite part is the oversized balcony which overlooks the bay. I can sit there for hours gazing at the bay, the boats and water activities; enjoying the sunsets; talking with family and friends; dancing to the music from the Rusty Rudder or simply reading a book. I don't usually sit still very long but there is something very relaxing about that balcony and the view.
