Walk in to this open concept cabin with cathedral ceiling, open beams and beautiful photography where you can feel the peacefulness of the mountains.Golden Valley Retreat feels like home! The kitchen is well equipped with everything that you need to cook your family a home cooked meal, a family celebration or a country breakfast. With seating for 6, family dining is a snap accommodating every guest. The fishing pond is great for family bonding time catching fish in this peaceful setting.

The cabin has plenty of space if you choose to hang out for a day, there is plenty of room to roam with short walking trails. The spacious living area, game room, outdoor fire pit and hot tub make it easy to 'stay home' and still feel "entertained".

If you like a 'busy' vacation every day filled with different attractions or if you prefer to 'chill out' and relax in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains this is your place.

IMPORTANT: Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check in or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day

Check-In:
*3pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin

*10am - Please follow our check out guidelines.

Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins require a 4 wheel drive under normal weather conditions but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TV's and WiFi in most all of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble, we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife. This is their home and we are the visitors.
