The Kitchen features granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster and blender. 51" flat screen TV/DVD/Stereo and queen sleeper sofa in living area. Master bath includes tile surround garden tub, separate shower and walk-in closet and 32" TV. Guest bedroom contains 1 twin bed, 1 full bed and 19" TV. Travertine tile throughout kitchen, living and baths. Guest bath has granite countertops and shower.

Welcome to The Island On Lake Travis, an elegant condo complex that offers luxurious Lake Travis waterfront accommodations located on a 14-acre island. This gated resort offers condos for rent whether it be long or short term. A very unique aspect about our property is each condo is done to individual owners taste.
The Island on Lake Travis is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing romantic escape, and enjoy wildlife and breathtaking sunset views over the lake.
There are plenty of local attractions to explore to keep you busy if you are looking for something fun and exciting to do. Take a day trip to Marble Falls or Fredericksburg, check out one of the 18 hole golf courses nearby, or enjoy a wine tasting at a Flat Creek Winery!
When you rent from Island Rentals, you can expect top-notch customer service, and dedication to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Each of our condo's come with a fully equipped kitchen and linens for the bedrooms and baths. Covered Parking is on ground level with reserved parking, and additional "guest" spaces as well. There are 5 elevators on property.
We provide our guests with check in information prior to their arrival, which will include the front gate code, assigned parking spaces, directions to the condo and door code for added convenience. (Front Desk Check In is not required, and allows guests to arrive and access condo late at night if necessary).

Hello 👋🏽, I understand that the porch is on the outside, but someone could Spray it down with Water before your personal move in. The Outside was GROSS ON THE PORCH. They rest of the property was Beautiful.

Family time!

My cousin and I rented this property so that we could take our moms who can't get around to spend time together. It was absolutely perfect! It had all the utensils needed to create our meals, very clean and the sunsets here are amazing! My cousin and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well!

Great stay

This stay went beyond my expectations. The lake view, beautiful pool, spa/fitness center were all amazing. It was nice and spacious. All appliances worked great. I would stay here again! One tip: if you are going to rent boats, jet skis, kayaks do it well in advance. Everything was booked up and we didn’t get to play on the lake but it was still a great stay!

Condo was very spacious, well put together, and had an amazing view/porch. Locatiom near the pool was perfect for the family and kids. No real complaints but would suggest a deep clean of the unit, appliances, and porch. Bedding and extras could use an upgrade. Overall we had a great time and were very pleased with the experience.

Nice view, comfortable . My only complaint is the bed on master bedroom is to noise , like old mattress or bed . Everthing else is nice , the hours for the pool the should extend it to mid night on the weekend like Friday and Saturday .

The condo was very nice and spacious. Overall view to the pool and lake was nice. Our concerns were only a few things; there were several burned out light bulbs, the balcony had a lot of cobwebs, and the hedges at the balcony should have been trimmed to a level just below the balcony which would have improved the view and general appearance.

Stayed for my birthday had a small cleaning hick up

I booked the condo for my birthday because I've stayed here a few times before. The day I was celebrating my birthday an issue arise with at the a certain area I thought wasn't clean. It kinda put a damper on my birthday. However, condo staff came to fix issue turned out it wasn't what we (my family) thought. But the time in between waiting on staff to fix issue had me on edge which broke my birthday spirits. Let me be clear staff did a great job and found out it wasn't what my family thought it was. But the thought had exhausted me which I went to bed early. The air filter will need to be changed and clean floors and dust would been great. Other wise you will enjoy your stay! Fantastic view and condo has everything you need. You might want to bring extra trash bags and tissue. But if you cal staff they bring items right away if need extra. Condo has no noise at night and very peaceful. Everyone was friendly and you will have a great time. Like I said I've stayed here before and had no issues. This is a great condo for your family. I definitely would rent again, and rate it 9 out of 10! The patio is relaxing and you have two ways to exit to the patio from living room and master bedroom. I truly enjoyed the early morning time on patio reading a book. Go enjoy yourself and one last note the condo is decorated very nice!

Very nice place

Everything was great. The only downfalls were that it was further out of downtown Austin than we hoped for. And the plumbing had some issues: backed up toilets and sinks.

This condo is beautiful inside and the view is spectacular. We really appreciated the coolers since the fridge didn't work. Unfortunately, we found out when cooking dinner that the oven didn't work either. It seems this property and the services need to be checked more thoroughly. The hot water in the small bath's sink was extremely hard to turn on so we didn't use it. There were spiders and webs galore on the balcony, and the onsite spa services advertised were non existent. Despite these few disappointments, it still was a relaxing weekend.

Girls' weekend getaway

Beautiful place. Grounds are well kept. Restaurant food was decent; friendly service. Pool area could use more lounge chairs and tables, but it was still nice. Our room was nicely furnished and kitchen had adequate items needed. Could use a good dusting, especially ceiling fans and knock down huge cobwebs that had spiders on the doorway to the patio. Patio nicely furnished. Beautiful views of the lake. Overall, we will definitely be back! (With a supply of toilet paper and tissues because those were minimally stocked). 😀

Not As Advertised

The condo itself is nice. Two bedroom that fit our needs comfortably. The property itself was a disappointment. Water does not surround the property. Gym is closed on Sunday and all other days at 4:30pm. Only 1 outdoor pool open (but too cold out right now). Indoor hot tub drained. Indoor pool heater not working so the water temp is 50's/60's. Kayak rentals are closed until about May. Wifi was spotty and had issues with the cable service not working too. I really don't want to leave a review because I hate leaving bad reviews, but I wish someone had let me know all of this before I booked. If you want to wake up at 8am when they start construction on the unit next door and just sit on the balcony all day and look at the cliff and water then this is your spot. It is secluded and private.

3 day weekend stay

Constructive: basics missing at check in (light bulbs, linens, disposer not working, grill on microwave missing, kitchen cabinet handles loose or falling off, kitchen table and deck table need adjusting or leveled, TP was like sand paper). Larry fixed disposer and other issues taken care of promptly after I had to use my vacation time to address. Larger constructive: The main bedroom bed needs to be replaced. It's awful. Positives: Well decorated, clean, great patio, great views, very nice property, great pool. Overall: This would go from "Average to excellent" very easily with some TLC on the unit by the owner.

The place was beautiful and the unit is perfectly placed to enjoy the pool and lake view, as well as the gorgeous sunset. My only concerns were the cleanliness of the patio and the risk of one of the patio ceiling fans that is only being held up by its connecting wires which could be dangerous should someone try to turn it on. Should these items be resolved, I'd gladly change my review to Excellent ☺
