The property is set back and beautiful!Pretty close to downtown Helen and other things we wanted to see. The kitchen had everything to cook good meals except sharp knives. Upstairs hot tub was broken but outdoor hot tub worked great! Brittany, Nathan and Todd gave us a jump when my battery froze, wonderful experience and highly recommend! All
Had some questions about the place prior to booking. Sent a message to the host but never heard back. Unless I just missed it, I could not find a number to call to get the questions answered. After I booked and made my first payment, the confirmation email I got came with a phone number to contact the rental agency. So, that was a little annoying but I did get my questions answered. Check in was easy. As for the cabin itself, it was what we were hoping for. Clean and comfortable. Bed was comfy, though it did sag a little in the middle, simply because the middle supports along the bed frame appeared to have slipped. Hot tub worked great! Skip on the upstairs jacuzzi. You’ll run out of enough hot water before you get it filled to the right level. The jets on the thing are crazy loud too. Again, hot tub was great and plenty big enough for the two of us to stretch out in. Now for things you’ll need to bring with you if you plan to cook. Sharp knife (only butter knives stocked). Can opener. Paper towels. Bag of ice. Coffee maker is older filter style, not k cup style. Also, bring extra pool towels. Lastly, the check out instructions tell you to put your trash in the dumpster, but there’s not one on site. We’d certainly rent it again if we go back to Helen, but next time we’ll know the extra items to bring.

Bad experience
For one kitchen was dirty! Had a dying mouse in a trap inside the cabinet under the sink. Had mouse droppings in the kitchen sink and on the countertop. Dishwasher had dirty dishes in it. Kitchen stove had burnt stuff inside of it on the racks and in the bottom of the oven. Floors were streaked and dirt around the stoves and cabinets. The windows in the cabin which had blinds in were mismatched and the ones that didn't have blinds had thumbtacks stuck in the top of the boards above the windows so You could use your towels for curtains. Only had a roll and a half toiletries to cover two people for 5 days, linings to cover one bath or shower for two people for 5 days. Trash outside at the back of the cabin in the woods, which was liquor bottles beer bottles beer cans and has been there for quite sometime. Heart-shaped Jacuzzi tub the motor burn out in it while we were in it. The fireplace which was supposed to be working did not have any pokers, broom, shovel, or clamp for it. Said something to receptionist when we turned our keys in at the end of the stay about the general conditions of the cabin and about the mouse. Was told that the conditions of the cabin was from the cleaning lady halfway cleaning it. The reasoning for the dying mouse was because of living in the country and that was to be expected. The rest was because they had just renovated it. Would not recommend to anyone.
