What an experience! Listening to the water rolling over the rocks while relaxing in a hammock or under a star filled sky next to a fire. Walking through the crystal clear river I could not help but think of the lyrics...almost heaven, Blue Ridge Mountains...Shenandoah river...The cabin is comfortable and the host was attentive and very responsive. We hope to return someday. Exceeded our expectations.

So kind and much appreciated Hope you can come back fall very amazing along there too thankfully big rain here now we need it very badly take care and thanks again
This wonderful place is magical. From my arrival and met the owner , he was very welcoming and could not do enough to make sure that my stay would be wonderful. The cabin was beautiful and spotless. I can’t wait to return.
Thank you for the kind review. You, on the other hand, were the best guest ever! I don't have enough words to express how nice the place looked when you left! Come back anytime.
Everything was as advertised or better. River views right from the deck. Great location for our hiking trip in GW forest. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for your kind review. You were a perfect guest and would love to have you back when you need a place to relax.
My fiance and I had a great weekend getaway for our anniversary! The house is cute and cozy with an amazing view of the river The sound is so calming and the bench swings under the porch are a great feature. Nice and quiet, too, besides the sound of the river.
Everything at the cabin was satisfactory and the location was beautiful! My only suggestion would be to put a step-stool in main bedroom so that shorter people can get up on the bed. I was unable to get up on the bed, so I slept on the twin bed.
The cabin is exactly as advertised and we are grateful for the 2 nights we were able to spend there. The firepit by the river and river itself were perfect! Thank you!
Great place to stay for two or three days. Only had one full day there. Morning hike to Campground and around Edinburgh in the morning. Afternoon ised fire pit by the river watched a football game on the tablet we brought. Roasted a few marshmallows.
Generous check in and check out times, very good high-speed Internet.
Nice , like the river view, balcony
Nice place !
Recommend a little more attention in cleanliness .

Sorry, the cabin was not as clean as you would have liked. Could you point out where the problem was so I could put more effort there.
Then, it looks like someone dyed their hair in the shower and laid down on a pillowcase, getting to color all over it.
We were busy during the day but had peaceful rest in the evening. House is nice but dated. Wasn't as clean as it could have been.

I wish people would be more exact about the cleanliness of the cabin. We would appreiciate to know where we are failing.
The kitchen floor was burnt by a former renter. So that makes it look spotty, but we can't do anything else about it.
And dated? It's a cabin by the river that is no longer used by the owner. Not meant to be anything more than a place to rest as you explore the Shenandoah Valley.
The setting of the cabin is lovely - just across the road from the river. We were busy elsewhere during the day so we didn't get to enjoy the view as much as we would have liked to. In the summer, it's likely wonderful.
The cabin is older and not much has been updated, but it is nicely kept and clean. This is not a fancy place, but was a great place for a home base for hiking in the area.
Wonderful location right on the river. The cabin was fully outfitted and maintained well. Easy to access and find. Was the perfect escape. Enjoyed the river and the surrounding area. Had all appropriate cookware provided in addition to a gas grill. Very clear at night and could see all the stars. Didn’t see another soul over the two nights. We’re considering coming back to this location.
