About the host
Hosted by Jill
We firstly owned a caravan at Waren Mill caravan park just outside Bamburgh so every Friday it was early finish, car packed, kids picked up from school and on the road by 4pm! We just love the area. As the kids grew up and the caravan needed to be replaced we decided to buy our first cottage in Seahouses with the aim that we would let a few weeks and use it ourselves. Well that didn’t work as it was so popular that it was never free! Eventually we had 3 cottages so usually managed the odd weekend. Now as the family have left the nest we are back to 1 cottage, our favourite Sea Haven. We know what you need for your next break. Fully compliant with fire regs.
Why they chose this property
Easy we love it, never get bored exploring the area.
What makes this property unique
It was an original fishermans cottage and the sheds are still at the back of the cottage where fish were prepared. No large enclosed garden or fancy hot tubs here but a nice enclosed terrace where you can sit with a cuppa and guaranteed to be talking to someone within minutes!
