Road to the cabin is steep and rough in places. The cabin was beautiful and secluded. The interior was clean and had lots of amenities. The outside had a lot of spider webs that needed to be cleaned up. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

We had a wonderful weekend at this lovely, cozy cabin in the woods. It was very private and quiet. The road is a little steep and only one lane but we had no problems even with all of the rain. The cabin is just as described and was very clean and cozy. We especially loved sitting on the screened porch while it rained. We would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet place to get away from it all. It is only about 10 minutes to town and there is plenty of hiking in the area. We did see a pizza driver pass the cabin so while we didn't order out, it appears that it is available.

Beware: These hosts do not communicate. The cabin had no hot water (just warm), place was filthy and the water from their well is disgustingly undrinkable. I have photos to show. We had to leave because of how bad the conditions were at the cabin.

We always encourage future guests to read through our extensive review history, as it reflects the consistent experience most guests have at the property. Unfortunately, there were several misunderstandings during this stay. Upon arrival, the home security alarm was accidentally triggered, which resulted in a police response. We understand this may have created stress at the beginning of the visit. Regarding the water, the cabin is equipped with a triple-filtration system and the water quality has not presented issues for prior guests. It’s also important to note that this is a true cabin experience surrounded by nature in North Georgia, and during peak pollen season, outdoor surfaces can quickly accumulate pollen despite regular maintenance and cleaning. Unfortunately these guests were pissy about pollen in the air and settling on the porches even though we had cleaned them. We work hard to provide a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained experience for every guest, and we appreciate the many travelers who continue to enjoy the peaceful setting and unique character of the property.

You can tell the owners take real pride in maintaining the space—it felt cleaner than most hotels we’ve stayed in. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy too, the kind of place that instantly makes you relax the moment you walk in. From the thoughtful touches to the warm, inviting layout, it was the perfect place to unwind after a day in Dahlonega. We only stayed one night, but it was memorable enough that we’d absolutely return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and charming place to stay.

Canin was as advertised. Very clean. Great location. The only negative for us was road was a bit sketchy. We have a Volvo sedan and unpaved road was a bit challenging even in good weather. We have stayed in several mountain cabins in east TN and western NC but this was the worst road. If you have SUV or truck should not be an issue.

The cabin was perfect, clean and very comfortable. Perfect, as advertise, I would recommend this cabin to anyone interested in staying in the Dahlonega area. First time visitors to this area and looking forward to coming back. Hope we're able to book this cabin again.We had no problem going back in forth on the small mountain road in our little 2-wheel drive Honda CRV.Plenty of Deer, Squirrels, Hawks, and Turkeys and other wildlife to look at while driving up and right outside of the screened in back porch.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was extremely clean when we arrived. The kitchen is well stocked. The back porch was perfect for spending time together and playing board games. While drinking coffee on the front porch, we saw deer crossing the road in front of the house. The drive up is winding with hard-packed gravel and it did rain a significant amount while we were here, but we had no trouble getting there in a 2wd vehicle.

We had an amazing time in dahlonega, the wineries Wolf mountain vineyard and Monteluce were great and the views were beautiful! The cabin was so clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed relaxing on the front and back porch and especially the hot tub!

Great secluded location close to charming downtown Dhalonega and good base for area hiking and sightseeing. Cabin was clean,comfortable and well stocked. Instructions to access cabin were well written and we had no questions or trouble figuring things out. We slept well. We did not use the firepit or hot tub, but we did enjoy the wood fireplace so our family could gather around and the Christmas tree and decorations was a warm surprise as we arrived Christmas day. Part of the road to the cabin is unpaved, twisty, and hilly but we navigated it without issue in a VW gti and Audi suv. The rare time we had a car coming in the opposite direction where the road is narrow people were curteous and we passed safely. Did not have to back up. Would recommend and would stay there again. Thanks.
