Welcome to our charming Central PA retreat! This converted garage is flooded with natural light, featuring two twin beds downstairs and a king-size bed in the loft. Conveniently situated between State College and Lock Haven, it's an ideal base for exploring. Come experience our cozy hideaway! The space We built our house in an old mechanics shop. We did all the work ourselves and built a space that we really enjoy. The property features a large glass garage door that can be opened in the summer months, tons of natural light and radiant heat in the floor.
The kitchen is full sized and the bathroom features a large walk in shower. The downstairs sleeping area has two twin beds and desks, the space can be separated by a curtain for some privacy.
The upstairs loft has a king sized bed with a memory foam mattress. The loft is accessed by a ladder that pulls out from the wall.
There are board games, coffee and lots of peace and quiet.
We have worked from home from this house. The internet is not perfect in this area, but we have made it work for zoom calls when necessary.
Our house is not pet free. We have a wonderful little Australian Cattle Dog named Austen. You probably noticed her in the pics. She's a great pup. But she does shed a lot, so expect some pet hair dander. Guest access You are welcome to use the living area of our house.
Please stay out of storage and garage areas unless needed. If you would like to do laundry, please let us know so we can make accommodations.

We stayed here last year and enjoyed the property. We ran a trail race in Lock Haven, and the place was perfectly located and exactly what we needed before driving home. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower was the perfect place to clean up and warm up after a long run.
Great stay, attended the Penn State football game with my wife, son, and 1 of his friends. As advertised, amenities were very nice. Bathroom was above expectations.Fire pit with the wood provided was a great time. Will definitely stay there again in the future.
Did one night only to break up a long drive. Neat little place, 9yo loved it and being dog friendly was a huge plus. Great communication!! Highly recommend
We stayed her the evening before the Eagleton trail challenge. The place is adorable and the hosts were very attentive. The rainfall shower was a complete joy and the kitchen is well stocked. The king bed was comfy. And check in and check out was a breeze. Thank you for sharing your little get away with us.

Thank you so much for staying with us. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, and hope the race went well.
Easy check in and out and place was clean for the most part. Close to where we needed to visit. Place is nice for younger folks but not so much for an older couple...we don't do ladders, the shower floor was very slippery and stall had no hand rails. The kitchen chairs were for little butts and uncomfy too. A microwave would be more useful than a stove...who wants to cook while on vacation?? Comfy beds! Price was high with the added vrbo costs.
