About this property

Cozy, quiet home in Nags Head. Located close to beach and sound!

With three private bedrooms and one large loft/bedroom, this house comfortably sleeps six.
Our space is the perfect getaway to relax and unwind. Located in Nags Head Cove, our well established, quiet, safe neighborhood is at milepost 14. The property is in a cul de sac, on a big lot giving you ample privacy. Our desire is to make you feel right at home. The back deck is an expansive area. There’s plenty of room to dine al fresco and enjoy the tranquility of the secluded property.
We provide kayaks, surf boards, bicycles ( bring your own helmet) a paddle board, corn hole and bocce ball. We also provide beach chairs and an umbrella.
There is ample parking, with two entrances - one on the West side and the other on the North East side that enters into bedroom three.
The washer and dryer are located on the ground level in an enclosed garage. The kitchen and three bedrooms are on the main floor, with the loft (4th bedroom) on the top floor.
We live next door on the other side of a wooded lot if you should need anything or have any questions while visiting.

OBX Stay

House was great! Check in/out process was easy and the house was very clean. Location was also great. The sound beach and ocean beach were within a 5min drive. Karen and Joel provided everything we needed for the beach which was nice because we flew home and couldn't bring anything with us. We had a great time!

The house was absolutely perfect!!! Karen is an absolute pleasure. So prompt to answer back with any questions. We actually left something there that we werent even aware of and she contacted us and sending it back. There is a community pool.. unless I didnt read correctly before hand, there was a 6 dollar charger per person which would have been costly if we used it alot . Athat would literally be mynonly complaint if I had to have one!!But we didnt use it alot.The sound and the beach are so close its so perfectly convenient. The 4th bedroom is an open loft area which is open .. it worked for us.We would definitely come back! Perfect perfect location !!

The unit met our needs in terms of cleanliness and number of rooms required. Beds were "loud" and could be heard each time we moved from 1 bedroom to the next, although the lines were of high quality. We were disappointed that we arrived to a dark home (no lights were left on) and the first thing we had to do was run out to buy soap to take a shower. The amenities which attracted us to the property were so-so. The kayaks look like they haven't moved in years and no beach chairs, boogie boards to be found. The pool was an extra charge of 6/person and not heated. We were the only guests that observed the "shower before you enter pool" and the rules overall, side comment.

Thank you for your review. We will address the beds as your comment is the first time we’ve been made aware of this. There are 8 beach chairs in the garage. We don’t leave lights on unless asked to do so. We, as homeowners, also pay extra each year for use of the pool. The monies earned help pay for the attendant that is there every day.
