Tired and worn

My husband and I stayed here for 6 days in January. We arrived at the location a bit early and before we had chance to unpack, the cleaning supervisor came to inspect the unit. She indicated that she was concerned that the cleaner had not cleaned properly. Her suspicions were correct- the bathrooms were not clean, most surfaces were full of fingerprints and one of the shower doors was off the track and unusable, The supervisor did a great job at cleaning those areas and we did not use the shower on the main level due to the broken door. After she left and we settled in we found several problems. There were dirty dishes in the cupboards so we washed everything before using. The furniture was old and tired. There was a urine smell in the sofa. The ad said there was a phone which we could not find until the supervisor searched for it and found it in the cupboard over the fridge. However it was unworkable. The rules said to use the home phone to call re TV issues, of which there were problems. It took us several hours to figure how to make the TV work as there were no instructions. Even after the supervisor told us how to use the TV, it did not work as she said. When it did work, there was very little program choice. The bedding was old, sheets and towels were well worn and ready for replacing. There was only one rickety chair outside in the front of the unit. In general the unit needs a deep cleaning and a refresh. It shows a real lack of attention.

Family vacation

Nice clean, comfortable place in a quiet residential area. Disney is about 15-20 min drive with light traffic, Universal is about 30-40 min, sometimes longer depending on traffic. The private house pool is good for cooling off or relaxing but too small to swim in. Parking is tight if you have more than one car in your group as there’s only one assigned parking space and a few ‘open’ spaces to park a second car. Gas, Walmart, DollarTree and several fast food places are close by. Basic TV so bring your own streaming media device if you desire more variety. Cellular service is sketchy in the area, best we got was 1-2 bars of signal strength regardless of carrier. Overall, a pleasant and clean place to stay and I would definitely consider staying there during my next trip to the area.

Very nice home

House was beautiful! New updated decor. I’m giving 4 stars because the master bedroom mattress is super uncomfortable. Springs were popping through, I think it’s time for a new one. Also one of the twin beds is directly under an air conditioner vent, so from night 2 on, my daughter wasn’t able to sleep on that bed. Lastly there were little tiny ants all around the kitchen. I tried to reach out to maintenance twice, but they never answered. It was manageable, but aside from that, everything was fine. The home is roughly 30 minutes from all the attractions, which was very nice, and down the road from Wal-mart. We never had the chance to use the community amenities, as I was there a short time and had no idea where they were located. I did reach out to itrip to inquire the location, which they did provide, but our trip was just too short for us to explore.

Very nice unit. Love the end unit with windows. Nice furnishings. Reported bad box springs and understand it is being handled. Reported several light bulbs out and maintenance showed up in couple hours. The unit could use a fresh paint job. It has been touched up with paint that does not match.

As you probably know wall paint can change over time with sunlight etc so the touch up paint, even though it is the same as the wall paint, tends to look different over time. Nice home away from home

We came to FL for a long awaited family vacation and was excited and comfortable at this home. Other than a small issue from the previous renter which the management took care of immediately, this townhome was great. The splash pool was sought after every night by the adults to relax and each couple loved having a bathroom to themselves. The townhome sits off another street which made it quiet and the neighbors were very nice. It was wonderful to come "home" after a long day at the parks. The service provided was great, I had an issue with the door locker someday at midnight that I could easily solve with the emergency number provided and in the other day sent Itrip sent someone to fix the problem with the door locker definetily, also answered my e-mails fast. Thank you ITrip.
