Very beautiful house and super clean. The street was a bit busy and it was tricky getting in and out with the traffic at times. The one shower was a bit tight and the initial wifi set up necessitated a 30 minute call with customer service.
But overall, it was a nice property and experience.
This sweet house is positioned at the edge of Marshall Brook, perfectly situated to watch the tide move in and out. We enjoyed watching and listening to the variety of bird life, kayaked with a seal playing hide and seek with us, and were thrilled to be so well situated to enjoy all that Acadia has to offer.
The house is spacious, clean, and even has an in-tune piano. There are plenty of fresh towels, bed and kitchen linens, and blankets available.
You'll need to bring everything you use to stock the kitchen as the cupboards are bare of cooking ingredients.
Beware: the house is right on the main road and is very noisy throughout the day and night. And, take care when pulling out of the drive -- a sign really needs to be posted that there's a hidden drive -- we were nearly hit several times by cars speeding around the curve.
Andrew, the owner, was extremely responsive and helpful to all of our needs and concerns before, during, and after our stay.
