Some of the best tenants ever! Always welcome back to my home!
Elderly grandfather and young adult grandson on long weekend trip. First time staying in a private home. Wonderful place, location and host. Wish we could take this place and host with us on every vacation.
Jayme-Lou was a fantastic host. She was so kind, helpful and available at all times to answer any questions, We spend a lot of time at Acadia which was easy to get to. It was so peaceful to come back to Jayme-Lou's house afterwards to enjoy the quietness. We had a fabulous time.
We had a wonderful stay! Everything was very clean and practically new. The back yard patio overlooking the woods was a great place to have coffee in the morning. Very quiet and secluded setting. The host was great, very friendly and accommodating. Even sent us to a couple of great local beaches one on a fresh water pond and another on the bay. I can’t think of anything not to like about our stay. We will definitely stay there again.
Jayme Lou’s property was very nice. The house is very clean with nice furnishings, including comfortable beds. We drove to Acadia and Bar Harbor every day, a beautiful and easy 35 min drive. Jayme Lou was very helpful and responsive to all our questions. I would stay here again.

Thank you so much for your review! It was a please having you all stay in my place.
Jayme-Lou was an amazing host! House was clean, it was quiet, she provided amazing recommendations, very friendly, and overall amazing! Couldn’t recommend this place enough, if we ever go to Maine again we will definitely stay here again! We mainly came for Acadia National Park and the drive from the house to the park was gorgeous and didn’t take long. Plenty of places to stop as well. Thank you for everything!!!
My husband and I enjoyed our 4-night stay at Jayme Lou's duplex. Although located in a more remote (and very peaceful) area, it is central to Bar Harbor/Acadia and Ellsworth which was perfect for everything we wanted to do on our vacation. Comfortable accommodations with a well-stocked kitchen, and the gas fireplace was a nice touch on chilly nights. The nearby beach is beautiful and great for bird watching. We appreciated Jayme's recommendations as well since it was our first time visiting the area.
Jayme-Lou was a superb host. She lent us a beautiful and quiet getaway place with everything we could’ve asked for. She was extremely hospitable and flexible with our arrival time. We loved our stay and even spotted a deer one morning. We cannot wait to get back to Lamoine. When we do, this is the first place we will check for availability. Thank you Jayme-Lou!!
This was the perfect quaint and quiet duplex for a great vacation in Maine! The back seating area was a peaceful place to enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by the beautiful trees of Maine. Jayme-Lou was a wonderful host and neighbor! We enjoyed visiting with her and she gave great recommendations of things to do in the area. Even when we ran into a hiccup she was so accommodating! The duplex was very clean and there were plenty of dishes for use in the kitchen. We would definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area!

Thank you so much! It was a pleasure meeting you all and I hope to see you all again! Jayme -Lou
We spent 4 nights at Jayme-Lou's while visiting Bar Harbor/Acadia NP. The home is beautifully decorated and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the location is exceptionally quiet. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, just bring your own food. We were there when the weather was unusually hot and humid but the window AC in the back bedroom and the ceiling fans kept the entire home comfortable. I was a bit concerned about being in a duplex, not knowing if the renters next door would be loud and rowdy (because we're not), so I was pleased to find out that our host has the other half of the duplex. Aside from an occasional bark from Scout or the sound of his play, you won't hear much from your neighbor. Perhaps most importantly, Jayme-Lou is determined to make sure that you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. This is definitely a place to consider if you want to be near Acadia but away from the crowds.
