Beach Cottage on Latimer Point in Stonington, CT with magnificent views of Fisher's and Long Island Sounds. Ample parking, two private beaches, safe and perfect for kids community

The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, and sleeps 6 comfortably. *max 6 person overnight occupancy*
The house has been owned and occupied by our family for 70+ years. It has up to date appliances, bathrooms, and is fully insulated with an HVAC system. Also a beautiful 180 degree view of Long Island Sound, Latimer Light and Fishers Island from front picture windows.

Community Amenities:
All Private Roads -safe for children to walk and bike ride freely without worry, the speed limit is 15mph
2 Private Beaches- the larger of the 2 is approx. 75ft from the house, the smaller 350ft. Beaches are within a protected inlet, no strong current or undertow, great for families!

Saturday to Saturday Rental Term. Check-In after 4 p.m. Check-Out by 11 a.m.

Very clean, but could of used a few lamps in bedrooms and living area.

The property wasn't fancy, but it was very clean. I appreciate having some supplies on hand that are not normally included with a rental. The location was very convenient to groceries, restaurants, and beaches. My 2 grandsons loved the rafts, and we were able to store our kayaks by the water. It didn't hurt we had beautiful weather..

Beautiful location!

The house is located in in the most beautiful spot; however, the house could use some TLC. Dishwasher and washing machine are very moldy, floors are very slanted, no closets. It’s a bare-bones house no frills about it but it has gorgeous views and it’s steps down to the water. Very friendly neighbors and neighborhood is very quiet. Mystic Seaport and shopping village are only minutes away.

lovely area

we really loved latimer point. the house was fine, nothing special, reasonably clean. Tiny tiny bedrooms, but that was clear from the listing. The floors were all hard tile, which I probably would have seen had I paid attention to, not the best if you have a baby and want to actually put it down occasionally. overall the house was perfectly functional though and definitely reasonable for the wonderful location. Owners were not super responsive to an issue we had, but we ended up figuring it out ourselves; hopefully if we'd continued to try to contact them, we would have gotten in touch sooner.

Terrific House at Latimer Point

We had a terrific stay at this property. The house was tidy and perfect for what we needed. The community is wonderful. My kids could ride their bikes and run around safely. The beaches are excellent.

Vacation at Latimer's Point

The property was very good, three beds, 2 full baths, washer and dryer and three houses away from the beach. Full deck with table and chairs and the house is air conditioned.

Super location for beach fun!

This property wasn’t fancy, but had everything we needed to enjoy our week including great water views! So close to the beach and boat launch. We loved Latimer Point and hope to return.

If you like cool central air on muggy hot days then this is not the property for you. If you like to be 50 feet from a sandy beach with crystal clear water then this is your location. BBQ restaurant nearby. Close to all local attractions.good location
