THE SPACE
The property is located in one of Sardinia's most spectacular and desirable spots, on the North Eastern coast, literally in front of Tavolara and Molara National Park. The view from the house is great since there are no buildings in front of the property.

This is a semi-detached villa with a private garden, but guests will share the stairs that take you to the property and the parking lot with the neighboring house. The villa is ideal for family with kids, couples or group of friends that would like to indulge in the pleasures of the beach lifestyle: indeed the property is only a two minutes walk from Porto Taverna beach. So, there is no need to drive to go swimming, sunbathing or even enjoy your favorite cocktail on the beach, since there are a few bars and restaurants in Porto Taverna.

Moreover the wide garden and terrace with wooden table, chairs and deck chairs, is the perfect place to relax, have dinner, enjoy your time and the beauty of nature in front of a gorgeous landscape.

This two floor house has 3 bedrooms (two downstairs and one upstairs), two bathrooms with showers, bright dining/living room with spectacular sea view, kitchen, two panoramic terraces and a big garden.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: downstairs there are two bedrooms (one features a queen bed, the other two single beds). Upstairs there is a smaller bedroom, with two single beds (slightly smaller then a regular single bed) that can not be moved. The bedroom upstairs, as visible in the pics has a lower ceiling.

Wi-fi is available via a portable router, so it is not always fast.

Beautiful house close to the beach

The house is really close to a nice beach. There are a few restaurants close by, but for groceries and other activities you need a car. The garden is really nice and you can relax there as well. The communication with Sarah was always easy and quick.

Perfection!

It was our first visit to Sardinia and we loved our visit. We are so glad we chose to book the panaramic house from Sara. The house was in a great location. Walking distance to the beach and a few restaurants. Sara was very helpful and we could not of asked for a better host. The house was equipped with all our needs and very clean. When we come back to Sardinia we will stay here again. Thank you for making our vacation memorable.

What an amazing place.....

The villa in Porto Taverna is second to none. It is perfectly situated only 100 metres from the beautiful beach with crystal clear waters. The villa is very clean and the owner Sara was very helpful before and during our stay. We tended to eat at the villa in the evenings, sat outside in the balmy heat of the evening. There are only a couple of beach restaurants within walking distance, but a lot more if you want to drive. It is only about 20 minutes drive from the airport which made our transfer time ideal. We hired a car which I would recommend for the duration. A fantastic holiday and we would all definitely go back in a heartbeat..

Wonderful place to stay near Olbia coast

Spent a lovely two weeks here for our summer vacation. Easy check in process was done quickly, and no "surprises". Location is perfect for the Porto Taverna beach. Small town for coffee and groceries is a couple of KM drive away. Olbia is convenient for shopping and groceries. Sara communicated well. Providing an absolutely outstanding list of recommended restaurants. Seriously, all bangers in this list. The house is very nice. Plenty of fans available for ventilation, and almost every window and door can be opened with screens. It was nice and clean, and pretty well maintained. The basics are all provided.

Schöne Lage, Haus okay

- The house is indeed very close to the beach. One has a lovely view over the sea; dining on the terrace is so nice that one does not really want to go to any of the restaurants in walking distance ... (see below) - The 100m distance from the beach mentioned in the advert and one photo are slightly misleading, though: You do have to cross a - little, not busy! - road to get to another very small road to get to the beach ... We cannot really understand though how one can just go for a swim and then stay for the rest of the day at the house, as it is suggested in somebody else's comment. - Sara wants you to pay both portions of the renting costs via bank transfer. We really appreciated this because it means that the inland revenue actually can see the money earnt. So many times we handed over the largest portion of the renting costs cash to the (Italian landlord) at the arrival, and the money was put in a pocket and very probably not ever mentioned in any tax claim. - House and garden are clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms could do with some love, but they serve their purpose. - Plates, glasses etc. are there obviously, but really just five of each. Apart from the basic things there is the usual junk you find in most holiday apartments. We didn't care about this, but if you do ... - The house has some corners with a really low ceiling, where one constantly bangs one's head if one is taller than 1,70m and not used to these spots. Unfortunately the kitchen cupboards are at the same inconvenient height. Might sound like a banality, but if you have banged your head for the umpteenth time, you do get a little annoyed. - The two restaurants at both ends of the beach are expensive and disappointing. We spent many holidays in Italy and were therefore surprised by how much effort is put in both places in presenting - rather mediocre - food in some unnecessarily exaggerated way. - Obviously, this comment has nothing to do with the house, but it means that you have to drive somewhere else in order to get a good meal for a reasonable price. - We were informed quite rudely by the neighbouring landlady about the complicated way of rubbish collection (and how we had done it wrong, not having been informed thoroughly enough by our own landlady). She complained bitterly about having to discard of a number of empty wine bottles by the family who had rented her house. If you rent Sara's house - stay away from her. 4 stars, with no doubt! But not 5.

Das Haus liegt wirklich traumhaft und hat eine mega tolle Aussicht auf den Strand und die Insel Tavolara. Der Garten ist super gepflegt und toll angelegt. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich. Die Ausstattung der Küche war super, der Essbereich im Inneren könnte gemütlicher sein, das wussten wir aber vorher schon von den Bildern. (da es abends noch oft zu kalt war zum draußen sitzen mussten wir diesen nutzen). Die Matratzen im zweiten Schlafzimmer könnten erneuert werden. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und die Zeit sehr genossen.

Der Blick auf die Bucht ist ein Traum

Der Blick auf die Bucht und die ruhige Lage (im Herbst) ist traumhaft. Die Ausstattung ist teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen und reduziert, entwickelt jedoch mit der Zeit ihren Charme. Wichtig zu beachten ist, dass es kein WLAN/Internet gibt, man kann sich aber selbst mit einer Prepaid-Karte eines lokalen Mobilfunknetzes WindTre aushelfen. Die Familie der Vermieterin ist sehr nett und die Kommunikation unkompliziert.

Incantevole

Piccolo angolo di paradiso con vista, brezza, e la spiaggia a due passi. Non c’è l’aria condizionata, ma i ventilatori fanno la loro parte, e il giardino, curatissimo, permette comunque di stare molto fuori. Menzione speciale per la gentilezza di Sara e per l’accoglienza. Torneremo!

Absolutely wonderful!

We stayed in the property for two weeks and it was one of our most memorable holidays for all the right reasons. The property was located in probably one of the best positions in Porto Taverna and the view was outstanding. The house was exactly as described plus a few extras that helped our holiday run smoothly. Sara was a great host and the handover was faultless. It was presented in an immaculate condition with a few helpful extras . The only slight hiccup for us was that we had booked a rental car for only the second week, but we realised that we needed a car for both weeks. Porto Taverna is away from the main town in a beautiful location but it does mean that you need your own transport for getting around and going to the supermarket. We managed to hire a car for the first week through a local car hire company -Tani car hire in San Teodoro ( also very helpful ) and the rest of our holiday was just perfect. Thank you!!!

Wonderful house close to the Beach!

We had a wonderful two weeks stay in July 2020. After booking in November 2019 the situatuion became unclear becaus of COVID-19 but the host Sara was very flexible and generous by offering cancellation and refund. We are glad that the situation improved so we could have an unforgettable stay at Sara's house. Our kids and we loved it with the nice little garden and terrace and the biggest advantage is the short walking distance to a wonderful beach and restaurants at the beach.

Traumurlaub

Wir haben einen rundum traumhaften Urlaub erlebt. :-) Sara ist für uns die perfekte Vermieterin. Sie hat sich um alles gekümmert, war immer verfügbar und erreichbar, spricht ein sehr gutes Englisch, war für unsere Sonderwünsche offen (Checkin früher, Checkout einen Tag vor Abflug, da sehr frühe Flüge), kannte die Umgebung und konnte uns Geheimtipps geben. Das Haus, der Garten und die Lage sind traumhaft. Wir hatten das Glück im angrenzenden Haus Nachbar vorzufinden, die uns sehr ähnlich waren (Alter, Kinder, Bildungsstand, Vorlieben...), mit denen wir uns super verstanden haben und viel unternommen haben. Laut Sara kommt so etwas häufiger vor :-)

Traumhafter Ausblick

Wir haben uns in den 14 Tagen dort sehr wohl gefühlt (4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) Das Haus ist rustikal und es ist fast alles vorhanden was man braucht, einzig eine Klimaanlage hätte bei den heissen Temperaturen gut getan! Es waren aber genügend Ventilatoren vorrätig. Abends ist in den Bars am Strand oft noch viel los gewesen, was wir aber sogar als angenehm empfanden, da man die Musik nur indirekt in der Ferne gehört hat. Aufgrund der tollen Lage, dem einzigartigen Ausblick auf die Bucht und die vorgelagerten Inseln und der wundervollen Terrasse sowie der sehr netten Vermieter können wir das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Einzigartig - wunderschön! Die Bilder lügen nicht!

Wir (4 Erwachsene, Mitte 20 aus der Schweiz) haben zwei Wochen im Sommer auf Sardinien in Saras Haus verbracht. Das Buchen, die Übergabe und Abgabe hat alles wunderbar und unkompliziert funktioniert. Sara ist unglaublich hilfsbereit in allen Angelegenheiten. Bei Fragen oder Wünschen, sobald sie helfen kann, hilft sie. Die Über- sowie Abgabe haben Saras Eltern gemacht. Ebenfalls sehr unkompliziert und überfreundlich. Wir haben uns stets sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das Haus ist wie auf den Bildern - nein sogar noch schöner! Der Ausblick ist einzigartig und traumhaft. In 1-3 Minuten ist man am wunderschönen, feinen Sandstrand. Dank des Grilles und der wunderbar ausgestatteten Küche haben wir viel zuhause gekocht und die Abende mit Wein auf der Terrasse verbracht. Um auszugehen benötigt man entweder ein Auto/Taxi oder man geht in die Strandbar welche 2-3 mal in der Woche zu einer Openair-Disco umfunktioniert wird. Wir hatten einer der schönsten Urlaube in diesem Haus und können es allen nur weiterempfehlen. Einmal mehr an Sara und Eltern: Vielen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen wieder.

Schönes Häuschen in optimaler Lage

Das Haus hat eine optimale Lage mit wunderschönem Blick in die nahezu gesamte Bucht von Porto Taverna und auf die einzigartige Isola Tavolara. Der Fußweg zum Strand beträgt ca 3 Minuten. Das Haus liegt an einem Hang, von daher auch die optimale Sicht. Es bietet ein schön angelegtes schattiges Carport und einen gepflegten Garten. Nachts laufen automatisch Sprenger. Vom Balkon genießt man eine ebenfalls eine grandiose Aussicht. Hervorragende Ausstattung an Gartenmöbeln mit "Longe" für gemütliche Abende und Strandmöbeln nebst Sonnenschirmen. Die schattige Essecke bietet Platz für 6 Personen. Wir waren zu sechst: vier Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (3 und 6). Wir haben generell draußen gegessen. Der Esstisch ist von der Küche direkt über eine Außentür zu erreichen- also kurze Wege. Highlight: In der Küche gibt es eine moderne DeLonghi Kaffemaschine. Im Keller eine Waschmaschine und einen zweiten, sehr großer Kühlschrank, der sehr hilfreich war bei den Temperaturen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist wie abgebildet. Wir wussten also vorher, dass es nur ein Doppelbett gibt. Wer ebenfalls mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern reist, sollte bedenken, dass die Kinder vielleicht etwas älter sein sollten, wenn sie allein oben schlafen müssen. Oben befindet sich auch ein Bad und ein wunderschöner Balkon. Für Erwachsene sind die beiden einzeln stehenden Betten im oberen Stockwerk etwas zu klein. Für große Menschen (ab 1,80 cm) sind im Treppenbereich einige Ecken zu niedrig und der Kopf muss rechtzeitig eingezogen werden. Auch gibt es im Haus einige Stufen. Bei der An-und Abreise muss das Gepäck über eine Treppe zum Garten gebracht werden, da das Haus Hanglage hat. Für die Mühe wird man durch die herrliche Aussicht mehr als entschädigt. Noch zu bedenken: die Küchenschränke hängen sehr hoch. Hinsichtlich der Anbindung zu anderen Orten möchte ich hier nichts schreiben. Es gibt drei Strandbars in unmittelbarer Nähe, was sehr praktisch ist. Die Preise sind im Verhältnis zu Deutschland in Strandlage aus meiner Sicht eher günstig (z.,B.Cappuccino direkt am Strand 2 Euro). Wir kennen diese Bucht und auch die Häuser hier schon länger (seit 2002), da es uns immer wieder mal nach Porto Taverna zieht. Es ist alles mit einem Auto gut zu erreichen. Die Umgebung und das Haus sind einfach "amazing". Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Herzlichen Dank für den phantastischen Urlaub in Deinem wunderschönen Haus, liebe Sara. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt :-)

Emplacement de rêve!

Emplacement calme, au top et à 2 min de la plage magnifique. La vue est exceptionnelle, même par mauvais temps ! (3 jours de pluie ...). La maison n'est pas grande, mais l'indispensable est là (il manque peut-être quelques couverts ). Les grandes baies vitrées ouvrent la vue sur la baie et le jardin est très joli et bien orienté . Les propriétaires sont très gentils et accueillant! Rien à redire, la location est tout à fait conforme à l'annonce.
