This is a great little cottage for a trip to folly! Sooooo close to everything! I live in Charleston but we wanted to be close to the action for 4th of July and it was so worth it! We only had 3 people and it was a great size. It would have been a tight squeeze with 6 and the bedrooms are tiny so not much space for storage but for a weekend for 3 it’s perfect!

Location was excellent & property was what I would expect from an older surf shack style beach home. Furniture & beds were clean & comfortable. House could use some maintenance but nothing I wouldn’t expect from an older home & everything was in working order. Washer could use a deep clean as it did have significant mold in dispenser & around drum seals on the door. Common problem with front loaders washers being left closed before drying out. I cleaned the dispenser, wiped down the seal & ran a machine cleaner through a cycle & it was usable. Outdoor shower was nice for rinsing off after the beach, a couple more pavers under it would be nice to give a larger area to stand & help alleviate it creating a muddy area. Enjoyed the screen porch very much & proximity to beach & main drag of town couldn’t be beat. Hosts were great & easy to work with & keyless entry was great.,

Close to the beach

It's our second time staying here! Owners are very responsive, property has everything you need to be comfortable, and location is ideal on Folly Beach. It's perfect for our family of 4.
